This instruction does not cover a black hose coming out of the body of faucet under the sink which connects nowhere. Apparently, it is for reverse osmosis attachment, but the document included with shipped box has no information. The Model was KFF-1610CH. Even the plumber didn't know what to do with it. Need instructions document for using or disposing of the black hose. Thanks

glad you mentioned the white foam gasket can be removed so you can use putty. I'm sure my plumber will insist on doing that and i don't want to have to argue with him.

Thank God this video exists! I had these exact questions answered, didn't know if that white washer was packaging material. But the paperwork was only a 3"x4" piece of paper with nothing but a drawing which did not say if the lipped side of the black rubber washer goes up or down. I had taken it out of the box to dry fit the drain pipes many months ago so I could not rely on simply assembling it as it was assembled from the factory. I wish all of the makers of stuff would go back to full sheets of paper and written instructions with various details explained in not only words but drawings and or pics..they think everybody has access to a computer and will just go on youtube..that is ridiculous! This is not the worse I've dealt with, it is a very fine high end sink and so far have had no other complaints about the quality.

Unfortunately, we just installed this sink and when we tested for leaks we found on. But not in the plumbing. The actual sink itself is leaking from the corner. The sink is leaking!

It's impossible to find a replacement hose for Kraus faucets - the only company that would not sell replacement hoses for its faucets. People should NOT buy Kraus faucets knowing that there are no replacement parts in case they need them. BTW is the Kraus going out of business (the company stopped selling spare parts is a sign) ?

Thanks alot!!! This helped me understand how quick connect works. My sink had a major leak at the quick conmect, was searching all over for replacement piece, saw this video, realized the bottom of quick connect was not fully screwed in.😅😅😅 Had it for 3 years, idk how it unscrewed itself but hey, its good now. BTW its a glacier bay😮😮😮

I like the ease of installation. But you clowns need to send a tool for the strainer it's ridiculous that you don't. I Mean WTF nobody carries a screw driver that wide or has one and a coin???? Lmao its 2024

How far in is the set screw. When your faucet is near a backsplash, I can only use the short end of the hex wrench. POS faucet.

Highly recommend these. My enamel sink is atleast 30 years old and probably warped. Never could get a proper seal on the right side with putty and standard drain. I think the previous owners had a garbage disposal at one time. I also had a brass and copper strainer. The left was original and still sealed fine with putty. Finally installed one of these on the right and it’s been holding scalding hot water for over an hour. Not one drop. This will help with any sink that may have imperfections.

Can you tell me where I can purchase one of these connectors??? I have to replace my pull down hose and the connection currently has a push in end and a screw in end. I need to replace it with the push in on both ends. I’m having a terrible time finding one.

Thank you. I could not for the life of me figure out how that connector worked. Brain dead I guess. It was really simple once you know the push pull part of it. Got a simple job done. Pretty good for someone 82 years old and who has the dexterity of a wombat.

There is another video that they have talking about installing the basket strainer. In that video, they say that you don't install the basket strainer, and instead, use the garbage disposal's flange to attach the garbage disposal to the sink

Mine didn't come with a second (black) flow restrictor BUT, the white one doesn't have a restrictor in the end of it at all. In fact, the opening in the white one is larger than the feed hose. So my question is, is this still a thing?

I'd like to use a larger undercount sink. Can the sink be supported by the plywood countertop eliminating the mounting brackets? Manufacturer recommends 1.5" on each side for brackets.

It seems there is a secrecy what type of cartridge Kraus faucets are using. Why not just to specify them in installation and maintenance instructions, why would we want need to call anywhere? That seems like a hurdle. As well, Kraus is committed only to 5 years providing cartridges? what will happen when it starts leaking, and we don't have a cartridge available anymore?

Do not apply teflon when using compression fittings!!! The water lines already have rubber fittings. I’m shocked this guy works for Kraus. The Teflon can get hung on the rubber gasket causing leaks.
