I have two of these, they truly are fantastic for our inland waters and dams! Ultra stable, even when landing 17kg and over catfish. Can take a surprising amount of kit in the front hatch and with a crate on the back they will have enough space for overnight trips, I just use my hiking hardware and plan how I pack it. Just a note on the seat, click the back strap to the first closed hook on the storage space and not the closest one to the seat. Taking it further back keeps the backrest from slipping forwards!

Seems like a great way to injure your back. Glad you're living and having fun in the meantime.

I love the safety guards on you chains. If you put that on you tube for the world to see I'd hate to think of what goes on when the cameras aren't on.

This boat is shit. 1 year ago I bought a rockstar, since then my skill level improved greatly. With the nemesis you get no pop

Awesome! I appreciate the feedback. Will be brand new to kayaking, and will be getting the orange one as well. I guess they'd throw in a paddle and spray-skirt for an extra $100. Just making sure it's worth the investment, really excited to get into it.
@ctophman112 жыл бұрын
I may be buying an orange one soon, the woman that is selling said she would sell it for $400 without and paddle or anything, but it is in great condition, good price for this boat?

hahaha, one of my mates got brand new necky gliss and it fell off the roof rack at 70mp (110kph) and it started doing foreward flips along the road... and there was a huge truck behind us. only a few scratches on the front and back. my flirt did something similar... it was ratcheted ontop of a boat trailer and the front ratchet came off but the back one didnt. it had two flat patches on the nose after than where the tarmac ground it away :( BUT IT WAS STILL FINE!!!

Good thing you didnt have to stop in a hurry... 120km/hr(80 mph) with 120 kilos (240 lbs) plus the weight of the boat all of a sudden sliding towards your head... hahahahaha... bada news bears But yeah, Fluid boats are tough as nails... note there is no outfitting in the boat to add structural support :) How about freezing it then hitting it with a hammer cicra bliss-stick??? P.S. When is Fluid going to put out a boat for someone who needs more volume than the L Solo???

how do you get that so that only his hat and boat are in colour and everything else is grey???? it looks sooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool!!!
@flynnski14 жыл бұрын
You did the drop test on a boat with no outfitting? Easy enough for the boat to absorb the shock when it doesnt have centre pillars or seats in the way. Do it again with a full outfitted boat.
@Camcanoe14 жыл бұрын
Yeah, outfitted boats would be better... Next time, try tying a long rope to it and the other end to a car and drive along a really bumpy road. Then try and slingshot it into a wall of something!!! My old flirt survived falling off a trailer on a relatively fast road!
@Camcanoe14 жыл бұрын
With these destruction test kayaks, you should auction them to various places for charity! Ya never know, some shop might want one that has been killed to proove just how good they are. And the shells are probably against companies policies to sell under normal circumstances!!!
@loitzlouis14 жыл бұрын
I still feel to make a fair test you need to use outfitted boats...

Love the down the line at :44. More video of just classic top and bottom turn carving would be appreciated. This thing isn't just a playboat. I had mine out in 14 sec double overhead after hurricane Bill and tipping into the drop on such energy is mild altering :-) Too bad we don't get it every weekend like you folks.

I love it, when i first got mine i thought, 'this ain't going down well. no WAY am i gonna be able to end this.' But it was quite the opposite, Piece of piss to end. Taught me to cartwheel in a hole. I would reccomend it.

Its a mix between steep creeking and playboating.. Im really impressed. how do you like your flirt?
