Thank you Joe for this work, my 2012 VW Routan has the same error code: P0480 P0693, P0692, P0691, according the circuit diagram, test the fan working connection like this: By pass the Fan Low Speed relay at 30,87(short 30,87 in K11 Relay), the Fan works at 8A current By pass the Fan High speed relay at 3,5 (short Fan High speed relay at 3,5), the Fan works fast at 30A current Check two relay are good situation, switch can be active with 9V power source, and the switch can be turn on. So all these parts are good: 2 Relay, fuse J19, fuse M34, Fan resistor, Fan, and all this part cable The cable Fuse j19 to K11 relay 85 is connection. The only can be problem is K11 86 cable and the "circuit board", but this part can't be diagnose like you said Could you find some thing about the "circuit board" in your circuit diagram? Thanks

Yea, well, a "professional" I hired and paid damn near $600 to fix my EVAP issue, never found it. Instead, he replaced parts that had nothing to do with the issue. I didn't feel like arguing with him because, obviously, he knew more than me 🙄. Still have the EVAP issue, and I'm not paying an assload of money to get ripped off again. I'll just let my POS run until it can't.

Check the fuse is not blown first. Make sure the polarity is correct, and connections are secured. If it is not one of these things, you will need to email ElMod directly to send the board to them to repair.

That’s are biggest problem. We have all these companies selling parts but no one knows what they are selling and what part goes to what. It’s ridiculous and sad. And most of us that want to work can’t because of some excuse from the companies.

Bought this years ago thanks to your video. Got the 2nd gen now. Not much improvement from the first. As cars get more sensitive electronics its proven to be invaluable. I can even use this on circuits that aren't intended for the tool and then just hook up multimeter to do the old school calculation and verify. Recently saw that Power Probe came out with a Power probe Draw. It maintains memory and measures electrical draw at the OBD II port. I can see some potential issues but I'm glad more tools being developed to troubleshoot these problems b

Bro, I have a 07 Mountaineer and suddenly started having elec problems similar to what you show in this vid. 1st off, I’m an idiot when it comes to auto electrical problems. I mean I have a harbor freight volt meter and an amp hound… I build furniture for a living and I have no business with my nose into my electrical system… However I’ve been battling cancer for two years and have not been able to work so I am top Ramen noodles twice a day broke and just doing the best I can and trying to survive. I just wanted to express my appreciation for what you do and your videos. I have no idea if what I learned today in your vid will help me fix my mountaineer. I sure hope so because I love the truck and other than my Harley Davidson Softail, it’s what Ive got, So I’m gonna go out there and probably make the problem worse, but what can I say…gotta try., ya know. If you’re ever down in South Texas, look me up. I’ll buy you a beer/or an iced tea… thanks man. Fo Real. Thanks…

Hey dude, this comment is about 3 years too late but it still stands. From whatever videos I have seen of you, you seem to be a straight up, stand up guy. People saying that you're not doing live videos because you aren't confident or whatever else they think are not worth your time or getting bothered by. They have NO idea of what it takes to properly diagnose and repair a vehicle and they probably don't have a clue about making a good video and posting it, so I say fk 'em! People who know, know!
