Fun fact. Those joycons can be detached. And the console can be turned on using the home button on the right joycon. Which would also turn on the tv if that setting is turned on, which it is by default. And obviously the d-pad and buttons aren’t blocked so it can still be played. Games like Mario and 2d retro games can still be played with little to no issue. What I recommend is disconnecting all controllers and and creating a block in the rail so it cannot be reconnected and leaving the joycons nearby so they are obviously unable to be connected.
