Just watched your Crappie Video in the Nassau River. Do you offer guided trips for Crappie? I am retired Navy living in Jacksonville and would like to learn how to catch crappie in this area. If not, can you reply with some locations, baits and jigs of choice etc. I do have a 16' Carolina Skiff. Name is Mike. Thank you and will watch for any reply.

How did you like the hooks with weight on swivel?
@horsleyretirementadventure644319 күн бұрын
I lost the first one, and then I modified the other two by removing the hook and added 12 inches of line and the hook. That way the bait was easier for the fish to get. I was getting bites but not hooking until I added the line. I really like them with the line!!

Wow Paul 30 pounds, that’s great! I’m sure you feel better. Hope you and Toni had a wonderful Thanksgiving and glad you were able to catch some fish for her. Seemed like your new trolling motor worked great. A high of 70 sounds like a dream to me since the wind chill here tonight is supposed to be 9 degrees. It’s been really windy all day and stayed in the 30’s. Ian not a fan of wintertime!

I’m a St.Marys native. The trout do not migrate up St.Marys or Crooked River like they did. Pollution from the Navy base, run-off from golf courses, or Wastewater treatment plants?? I’d like to see some water quality reports.

That wind was really fierce on this day. Wow, that’s a good amount of weight loss, I’m sure it makes you feel a lot better. I’m right the opposite and trying to gain some weight. My stomach went to sleep in ‘08 due to Lupus and won’t wake up so it doesn’t know to digest anything. I weighed about 120 when it happened and now I’m around 72-75#. I take an IV feeding every night for 12hrs and that’s what’s keeping me alive.
@horsleyretirementadventure6443Ай бұрын
So sorry to hear that Pam, prayers for you and hope as well.
@pampriddy7659Ай бұрын
@ thank you and your prayers are greatly appreciated. Of course I’d love to be able to set down at the table to eat and enjoy a plate full of food but even though I can’t I am still so grateful and richly blessed.I live alone and I’m still able to take care of myself and do most everything that I need done and I’ve got sense enough to ask for help when I need it. I’m able to support myself and pay my bills without any assistance of any kind I still get out and do things as I feel like it and am able to. My blessings are countless and they outweigh my burdens every day so I really have nothing to complain about!
