For anyone else watching this, they are not increasing the water flow (you can see this in the LED sign often visible at the top, which is always close to 11000 gallons per minute). The position or angle of the ramp isn't changing either, unlike an adjustable waveshaper. All that's changing is the tailwater height, which is controlled by a downstream gate that is not visible in this video. Skip throughout the video and you'll see the water rise drastically on the left (downstream) side. Changes in the tailwater height cause the wave shape to change.

Are there any Denver stores that sell boards? What shape/size do you recommend?
@McLaughlinWhitewater7 жыл бұрын
Not really any shops selling boards. For RRP, nothing over 5'0" long. Talk to Dan at Colorado Surf Supply about a custom for the park.

Thanks! I might just order a lib tech puddle jumper to use for the park and travel. probably a 5'9" or 5'11"

Yes def, a wake surfer used behind a boat is perfect for most all river surfing conditions. Anything from 4'4" -5'2" with the same fin configuration would be ideal!! On FB @B2Rcomp

A wakesurf will work. The 'Time Machine' board was used out there successfully.

That looks fun and great work but the Susquehanna has gross water. Hopefully, they stop polluting it. www.fish.state.pa.us/susq-impairment.htm
