Quelle belle surprise estivale ! La chaleur caniculaire est d'un coup moins accablante à écouter ce joli morceau (bon, la bière fraiche y est peut être aussi pour quelque chose, mais je suis sûr que la chanson aide). <3

Last time i saw the song Loch Lomond was written in 1746 not the 19th century. The Song is about a Jacobite soldier who is going to die for his King.

There were English Jacobites fighting for Charlie and there were Scottish lowland Protestants fighting in the British army. This was a Catholic vs. Protestant war, not an England-Scotland war. He was King of England and Ireland as well as Scotland. He got as far South as Derby. Unfortunately the English Jacobites were hanged after Culloden.
