Pilots were difficult to train and rarer than the planes they flew. Generally when kamikaze pilots returned from their missions due to not finding their target, mechanical issues etc. they would just be sent out on the next one. If you start returning repeatedly then questions might be asked.

Aww not again. F Jeff. Kamikaze bingo one of the best EVER! His nit picking is fkn ridiculous. If only he had had more responsibilities,all of them actually. he should cast. he should direct, and edit every episode. He could've made it all so much better. 🙄 That's why he's now the biggest and funniest stand up in the world. 🫤 Yes..he's funnier than say..joe rogan, but not by much, that's the biggest surprise of this podcast.😥

This episode has a lot of tiny pieces that are extremely funny on their own. The delivery of "wouldn't he be dead?", shit bow, the ending. The episode as a whole is a weak vehicle for a lot of funny bits.

I'm shocked she isn't doing films like will Ferrel cause she is so funny and talented. She was one of my favs on SNL over all the yrs. My fav group was with her, will , chris, Molly, Collin and jim Bruer. That was the best group. The one actor that was so great that did the ladies man. That was all part of that same group. My fav bunch

Believable because Larry WAS needling Yoshi. Remember, when Larry walked in Yoshi and Cheryl were Flirting, so Larry's giving him the business straight away.

By the way, the BAND that Mr. Garlin did NOT mention in the SNL/Walken/Ferrell sketch: the incredible Blue Öyster Cult, aka BÖC. Jimmy Fallon and the boys were playing the members of Blue Öyster Cult recording their classic song “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper.”

Interesting to hear their thoughts on this one. I can understand the logic of why elements of this episode are somewhat flawed, but it has some absolutely brilliant moments. When Larry yells out "Bingo! Bin-Go-o-o, Bingo!" while everyone is giving him daggers, it kills me. Also, his Dad watching the porn at full volume and nobody noticing except Larry... And Larry complaining to everybody who will listen that Lenore is running a crooked bingo game at the home and he was cheated out of one dollar. It's a funny episode.

Freddie Roman was a hilarious Borscht Belt comic. These are some of my favorite comics. There is a great documentary about one of the old resorts in the Catskills, called Welcome to Kutsher's. Freddie is in that and is pretty funny. I think it's on Amazon Prime.

The last scene of the episode, when Tinaka is in his wheelchair charging at Larry...It says "Cofey was Here" on the door...which is a throwback to "Kilroy was here" a graffiti that kept appearing during World War II.

I wish they explained more about why they didn't think it worked. I've always had affection for this episode. I love the way the whole thing ends up in a kamikaze attack against Larry! And who can forget the "Doctor? Pharmacist?" bit? Or "Teriyaki chicken boy!"?

Always happy to see a new episode of this cast! And I have to agree: Curb has very, very few "off" episodes. (That said, even the "bad" episodes of Curb are better than 99% of anything else out there.)
