Your extended interview with David Price works brilliantly. He is great in that he openly explores vulnerability; the trick that champions are seemingly able to employ to convince themselves of their own invincibility and the fact that they feel they need to because it's that very belief that makes them invulnerable. David Price opens the door on the struggle to maintain that sense of self assurance. Boxers can be insanely brave but the interview demonstrates that there are still human frailties to which we can all relate. They may initially be a challenge to be overcome, but in David's case it's fascinating to hear the steps towards reconciling them. I'm sure it helps that both interviewer and interviewee can relate to struggles that so easily arise from elite sport but it's a great podcast; congratulations to you both.

Everyone from the aristocracy and upper class of the 19th century were racists. It's stupid to apply 21st century standards to them, it was a completely different society.

For medical use sure I'm all for it, but until we can test for cannabis induced impairment the same way we can for alcohol, I don't think it should be for sale to the general public, every single stat that has done so far, has had in increase in crashes including fatal crashed, immediately after, and the amount of people that still think it is safe to drive while high is astounding.

I’m glad he found help where he needed. But so annoying that he had to be handheld to be shown. This is why it’s never going to get legalised. Because people are stuck in their beliefs and you can’t handhold every single person to show them the truth.

ME and Fibro are made up illnesses for drs too lazy to look harder. I know this, I’m diagnosed with both and specialists have said so. Using either of these as an excuse to prescribe psychoactive drugs enmasse to the public is idiotic. I used to smoke this crap a lot, I chose to rather be in pain because cannabis took my life away more than illness ever did.

Calling it cannabinoids is just beating around the bush though and doesn’t help anyone and doesn’t help to remove the stigma, unless you do actually mean CBD, but if you mean smoking or at least consuming THC in any form then say it with chest to help others who need it.

@@simperinghamnot exactly because legalization will mean that the government can start taxing it because it's a legal produce... With it being decriminalised you won't go to jail for possession but you're still not allowed to sell to the public and that means no taxation..

This is how men are treated in general by the medical community. I still live with terrible back pain after 5 years, repeatedly visiting 4 gp’s, one joint specialist, and three physio’s (one of which specialised in dealing with stunt men). No matter how many times I’ve asked, begged, and once cried… they won’t even send me for a scan.

It was 19 years ago, before he decided to start shaving his head. It was a county jail and he had just been booked in, so was showering right after being booked. After his 11 days in solitary, his family finally bailed him out and he was released straight from solitary. Luckily he got probation for the underlying charge (DUI one car accident no injuries) and it was a turning point in his life. He went straight into rehab and been sober since. These 11 days were a complete turning point in his life.

Women are NEVER going to be equal to men in sports. Men are the large majority of sports watchers and most men dont like to watch womens sports. The only way for women to ever be equal is if more women to watch womens sports and i doubt that will ever happen. Also on the football debate. What makes the premier league so entertaining is the pace of the game. No amount of money with make the womens game as fast and powerful as the mens game.
