I had someone put Urethane over my new epoxy floor. The Urethane had speckles in it, about 1 inch apart. I think it may have been air bubbles, as they stick up in the surface. If I sand them down, can I put another coating over it? I gave up on the floor contractor, as I'm not convinced they know what they are doing. Trying to figure out how to fix their mess.

I had a previous expoxy floor on a new garage. i wasn't happy wirh and used rustoleum recoat primer over it and then applied new epoxy, which did not bond correctly, and it was spread out like u mentioned. Can i use this method to prep the surface, or do i need to take it down to the original surface?
@Epoxy2U
@Epoxy2U 25 күн бұрын
Hi Justin, so sorry our original reply never came through. If the first coating is peeling off then it is best to take it down to the original surface first. This method is only when your old coating is already properly adhering to the surface.

How do the stem walls dry ?
@Epoxy2U
@Epoxy2U 7 ай бұрын
We have a small hand held light that some guys will use to hit the stem walls with, but others choose to just polyaspartic the stem walls as it doesn't effect the customers ability to use the floor again right away.

That is our brand new UV top coat. Cures instantly under a powerful UV light machine. The space is ready for full use again 30 minutes after applying the light. We will have more content on this product coming out soon.

Hello, thank you for this video. Do you know of any other product you guys sell that can poured directly over concrete that is a bit cheaper? I have a freshly poured 64 x 48 slab, no sealer, wasn't trowel finished. Is there anything else I could use without having to grind the concrete?
@Epoxy2U
@Epoxy2U Жыл бұрын
Hello, we certainly have other products that can be used that are cheaper, however we CANNOT warranty any of our products if you aren't going to grind the concrete first. Without grinding the concrete the products just simply won't adhere to your surface properly and there's risk of something causing it to break off.

Do you recommend a concrete primer before the 6150?
@md21042
@md21042 3 жыл бұрын
After applying the Polyspartic top coat how long do you need to let it cure before parking cars and installing racks etc.? I just applied 6150 on Saturday and the top Coat polyspartic on Sunday. Let me know. I was going to let it cure for 7 days before parking cars on the surface. The coating is already very hard after 24 hours and looks terrific.
