Finally a booktuber that likes the same kind of books as me. Only one I can’t get around on this list is Sally Rooney - I just cannot get around her writing style!

I love your view on Carrie Soto!!! I felt the same way while reading it, she made me care about Tennis which is a miracle in itself. I think TJR wanted us to know about the thing that happen, cause I also knew it was coming. I was still in shock when it happened... It's my favourite of TJR's books.

Absolutely loved Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow! You have confirmed that my next investments will be Sally Rooney, I have been very intrigued by everyone complimenting her. OMG THANK YOU!!!! It feels to me like alot of people put down books because some or all the characters are so unlikeable but 1. not every book has to have all perfect/likeable characters and 2. in reality we come in contact with people we like and dislike everyday, so what? I have been enjoying the books that show characters imperfections, even if it makes the reader dislike them. Great job for your first year on youtube!! Cheers for more years!

Read tomorrow x3 when it came out…still haven’t gotten over the scene. Lives rent free in my brain. And oh my year of rest and relaxation - no notes, book is on a pedestal. Loved the guest. If you haven’t read the girls, run don’t walk to your nearest bookseller. I could continue on about others on your list as brevity is not my strong suit but I will resist! A little life broke my heart this year! It was a beautiful but tough read. Completely understand it was on this list. My favorite book of 2024 was Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson. Stunning story about family, identity and culture. I'll be reading my first Sally Rooney in 2025. Which one would be best to start with in your opinion? Have a great christmas btw!❤

I have read every Lisa Jewell book. She has been my favorite author for about 10 years. Her older stuff is soooo good. You have to check them all out!

I have read and loved almost all the books you have read. The only book I don’t agree on is Bunny,absolutely hated it. Harsh but true.❤️🇨🇦

Great list. It’s been a good year for reading, and so enjoyable watching your vlogs. My favourite read this year has to be ‘All the Colours of the Dark’ by Chris Whitaker. I can’t really explain why either. It was just a beautiful and immersive read for me. Looking forward to your vlogs in 2025!

Eleanor Oliphant was my favourite book of 2023. I still think about that book 12 months on, I agree with everything you said about it.

i see the first to die at the end is on your tbr and i just want to say i loooooveedd it and i hope you get around to reading it soon - i liked it a lot better than they both die at the end. i cared about the characters so much more and it was sooooo sad but the romantic bits were SOOOOO romantic

Good job, hope you’re better! I agree about the twists, I wan’t them to be getable but just out of my reach 😂 I do think the one in The Maidens was not, obviously you got it, I just thought it was ridiculous I guess! Did not like the book. Agree it’s more of a mystery than a thriller. And I wanted more of the secret society! It said on the cover I was invited!!! I was in fact not!!! 😂

The Reading slump is getting me also. But I have to ignore it since I am currently in the middle of nine books and I cant just leave my babies hanging 😅

i very much agree with that comment! as fun as tbr jar/scavenger hunt/blindly picking tbr etc videos are, i watch your videos because i adore your personality and would watch whatever vlog you share 😆💙 please don't force yourself to read books you're not in the mood for just for the videos, especially when you're in a slump and/or sick. i hope you're feeling better now, please take care 💕

I feel like everyone has been in a reading slump the last couple of months, myself included, I'm blaming the weather! I listed to the ending of A Monster Calls when I was in the gym...so I was crying on the treadmill 😂 such a beautiful but heart breaking book!

I honestly didn't seem to love the second book as much as everyone else. I am on the third book now. tbh I like this series it's my first books by Sarah but I don't think it should be as hyped as they are 😅 I know that's going to be a very unpopular opinion so I'm sorry lol

Lisa Jewell is my favorite author. I have read all of her books. Her older stuff is soooo under-hyped so definitely go back to her older stuff.

I got: Conversations with Friends Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine And Hidden pictures I looked for books by Lisa Jewell and unfortunately I couldn't find any except "Then she was gone" so I can't wait for you to read it to know how good it is!
