I’ve had mine for 10+ now, all 3 just endured a very heavy, wet, windy storm at camp(a few hours of direct windy rain). I forgot to close the rainfly on the “garage” tent, the tub of the tent flooded but the bags kept everything inside(our days worth of clothing/towels/chargers) completely dry. Best bag ever! I have also carried the 35l as a carry on and checked the 50. Recently rucked from Penn Station to The Ace Hotel in Manhattan comfortably. These are iconic travel bags!

The part where you said you weren't supposed to run in those, unless you're wearing a dress shoe, a shoe that doesn't fit you or some kind of luxurious foot wear, you'll be fine 😂 only difference is the technology is dated and the materials aren't as up to par as when they were first released in the 80s.
@conditionedconsumer3 ай бұрын
True, they are pretty dated technology wise.

As a Norwegian who comes from a culture that’s centered around nature and hiking, and the outdoors in general, never seen such beat up shoes before, and hiking boots at that😅 Want, but that soft outer sole won’t survive our nature here as we don’t have deserts, but alot of tundra, deep forest and especially very rocky hiking terrain, marshes, rivers, streams and lakes.

Danner has put out some great boots. I have a couple pairs of my issued USMC boots that have alot of wear and have held up to abuse. After I had a foot injury I moved over to the Mt. 600 line. I own 3 pairs now and just got the newest leather version. I wear these 10+ hours a day for work and they are hands down the best boot I've worn for all day comfort and reliability.

ive had these as my daily headphones for about 3 or 4 years now. I mainly use them wired but I do have a wireless adapter for them and rechargeable batteries on stand by. Only problem I had with them is that the earpads wouldn't ever get worn down the adhesive would just stop sticking and would split open and the foam inside would stick out. I wish apple would bring back the headphone jack.
@conditionedconsumer Жыл бұрын
Bose has to figure something out with the ear pads, I have another pair and they also have deteriorated. It's an issue for sure. I'm also a fan of the headphone jack returning.

Danner has a boot for specific uses some of these comments are not really thought out . I own 4 pairs and use them for out and about nothing ridiculous they are a extremely good light leather mid boot with a comfortable sole. I basically own a boot for every season from danner ( my specific choice of brand ) I’ve worn danner way back as a paratrooper in the army and still have them to this day . As for being American made good luck 👍🏼 and I’ve come to accept that Most if not all clothing these days are made elsewhere and I’ve bought American made only to pay more and honestly get lack luster quality at times if there’s a company that makes a 💯 perfect all purpose 💯 ( waterproof ) mountain climbing, dog walking, swimming boot besides wearing rubber duckies then please share because I’ve worn every ( name brand ) there is 😂🍺

This was a great review of the rainbow flip-flops. I am a huge fan of flip flops. I have to wear my flip flop Year round because i have big very very extremely wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE wide with very chubby fat wide toes that are equally straight across making my foot very very wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. My foot outgrew shoes , socks , & boots 35 years ago. I would like to get me a pair of rainbow flip-flops but I do have a question though? Do the leather stretch out pretty wide for wide feet? I never owned a pair of leather flip-flops before & my toes are wider than the flip flop straps. This was a good video. Thank you for sharing.

I don’t consider these a nice pair of hiking boots. These are tennis shoes that look like a hiking boot. Sole is terrible. You’ll feel every rock or Boulder. So disappointed I wasted over $200 on these junkers. Do not buy. Shame on Danner.

Well that all depends of what you expect a shoe to do. To have healthy feet, I do wear minimalist shoes in summer and these shoes in winter condition. The more you feel the ground the better, 'cause that's were your feet are made for! For me the sturdier the shoe, the less 'good' they are, considering they hinder the normal footfunction. Just noting that I run ultratrails in minimalist shoes, do thru-hikes in alpine terrain in these shoes with great satisfaction and comfort. I even take out the insole to keep my feet from overheating in fall.
@coloradojt2 жыл бұрын
@@jeroendeclerck5146 respectfully disagree with your comment that the more you feel the ground the better. I have Danner hunting boots and a pair of low top Jag’s. Love them. My Mountain Lights are simple worn out and can’t be resoled. Sold the Mountain 600’s for $30 on eBay and bought a pair of Oboz instead. Kind of disappointed in Danner right now.

I got a 90 liter model. I use it in my car to store a wool blanket, warm parka, pullover, fleece, a pant etc that I have with me while traveling in case I get stuck somewhere and have to spend time in the car, especially during winter. If necessary I can just grab the bag and leave the place and I have all the stuff with me. And during summer it will hold my camping gear. I love the bag, its solid feel has an adventure touch. Cheers!
