Awe, I was hoping someone would finally get in depth into the settings inside the module as to how to set up hi hats, snare and ride with, triggering, threshold, curve, linear etc etc etc settings so they react the best. Nothing really out there on that. At least the settings you might have or something and why you have them there. Thanks !

Dude..... THAT IS PERFECT and pretty much what I'm imaging. I was just sitting here looking at my new MPC X and then over at my TD50 and wondered if I could use the roland as the pads for the MPC and also play all the Akai sounds as if the roland kit were the pads of the MPC . Then I found your video upload here. So I ask you mate, what you actually did here? Was what you played on the kit the kit sounds from the module or from the MPC?

Yes you can do it. I haven't done it in a while but yes it can be done. As of matter of fact it make a perfect lock in Recording DAW. The only downfall is that you have to mix your Roland Drums inside of the MPCX. Or you can Bounce down the audio or Midi tracks. And Yes you can Trigger your sounds from your Roland and Use the the MPCX Sounds. They don't tell you this because It's only was supposed to be use with Protools only. But Protools used to always top. So that's why I started going for what works for me.

After I found what works. I took my Motif and added in the Mix And this is what I came out with using my MPCX Roland TD50K Motif ES7 Can some VST Instruments. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4mno6FpbZuEm6s
