Thanks, you too! I only found out it was happening because your entry was in my KZbin subs page. I'm very curious to see what the judges will go for. They have a lot of listening ahead of them :)

Thank you. I checked out your work; you've confirmed my belief that the Lyra-8 is incapable of making sounds I don't like 😉

@@MahlenMorris The Lyra-8 is not just a synth, it's a life style. LOL joking aside it is quite wonderful.

I like your username, too. You make the Ether sound as though the signal from the out at the bottom isn't as intermittent or dodgy as I'd have anticipated. I just might pick one up. This is analog radio dirt rendered by a pocket digital field recorder, I'd guess. Sounds really satisfying.

Thanks! Be aware, this is fairly processed audio from the Ether. It's running through a Reaktor synth I made that plays the 20+ minute recording four times, at very slightly different rates. That's why you hear events (towards the end) four times, moving from right to left. Plus I've added some other bits on top to fill in some of the quieter parts. In some ways, I feel like the Ether is slightly more compelling as an exploration device (wait, why am I hearing this sound here? What is going on in my dryer?) than musical instrument. Although I did just make another track using sounds from it, soooo... But if you like the sound, do get one!
