I love Billie. I didn’t know this story. I would probably have loved it 15 years ago. I used to just buy into anything he would say, I know, I should have known better, it’s pretty embarrassing now. 🤣 What I’m trying to say is I have a feeling Billie might have exaggerated a few parts of this story (that is if it actually happened which might not be the case in the first place). The only thing missing is a standing applause from a bus driver as we say in my country. 🤣 Oh, Billie, gotta love you anyway. 🤗

Look at the vinos footage I believe he tells the story - the 4th guy in green is from Arkansas - probably met when they played at Vinos

I'm from Arkansas (grew up in Fort Smith during that era) but outside of this song having "Razorbacks" in the title I never knew the "guy with the girlfriend" in the When I Come Around video was from Arkansas! The way I found out - one day I was reading the Wikipedia page about Little Rock Central (where the National Guard was deployed by the president to desegregate the high school) and noticed something interesting in the "Notable Alumni" section ..Jason White (1991): Musician, Green Day, guitarist. Blew my mind!
