Where did you get the new nest
@ichich57303 ай бұрын
I usually throw insects in cooking water before feeding them. Sometimes if i kill a fly or mosquito in my appartment...unfortunally not. I will take more care after watching this video. But my colonie lost also more most of the workers since the friend i gave them over winter let them dry out completly. But it greatly recovered from that point and this winter i will be at home. I have still a small colony, the queen i found quite exactly three years ago in greece with the horrible 2nd winter which decimated maybe 70-80% of the workers. I hope your ants will do well, good luck! Ironicly my colony also refuses to leave their dirty test tube and use the new ytong nest i built them as a trash deposit(with only ~10 workers left in may, i decided to give them a new test tube). I am thinking about giving them a earth nest next year they deserve it.

*Hey i think you can start new termitekeeper carrier because terniites are a bit close to ants, they have Queen and King, can have more Queens than 1, Can eat wood or produce special termites fungi, they are in evolution tree closer to cockroaches than ants, Workers can be Male or Female, please start termitekeeper carrier please.*

Very nice made. Incredible and Definitely unique design. Well done. For the hole of water, or humidité how did you manage to do it ? You just make a hole inside and build a spécial compartiment for it. Could you be kind to explain me this part that I didn’t catch thank you.

Love the channel! Also from one ant enthusiast to another, I've noticed you refer to all your ants by male pronouns when actually most ants including all workers are female, which I've always found a neat fact about them. Hope to see more of your ants soon!

Will the colony consider all 3 separate spaces to be all one colony? Or will they attempt to divide?
@DieselDoesScience9 ай бұрын
Not an ant export, nor have i ever kept ants, but they will probably be one colony. When I’m outside i will sometimes see a big ant colony with a sub-colony stemmed from it a few inches away.
@PhoenixAscension5546 ай бұрын
They will treat it as a satellite nest, they can't divide into different colonies, they are all raised under the same queen (or queens)
