i'm super late to this so idk if you're even going to read this lol but i think that in the part that you got confused (7:44) Stromae is talking to himself, it's like what he would say to himself (i don't know how to explain it, i'm not native english speaker :c). so he says "hey, i've been thinking a lot and i don't know what to do with you" (he doesn't know what to do with himself), but then "actually the problem with you is that you're thinking a lot" (and here he's like responding to himself, as if he was two ppl inside of one person having a actual conversation). imo basically during the whole song he's talking about the contradicting thoughts that one has when dealing with unaliving thoughts and other mental health issues. that you _think_ you've been thinking about the problem, but sometimes thinking too much about the problem is a problem in itself, because it doesn't stop and most times you get nowhere. he says this again in the "subscription to the Guilt Trip Channel" and "sometimes you should take your mind off it, not too much though" lines, he's basically stuck in this guilt mindset, which is bad, but also that "loop" of thoughts he's stuck in ironically _help him_ not to think about other things too much. i know Stromae has been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks caused by a medicine used to prevent malaria since like 2015 and i can't talk for him, but i've been dealing with mental health issues too (i have panic disorder and depression since forever) and personally i think this song and video are genius. especially the moments when he's angry and punching the air, to me that represents the feeling of frustration with yourself because of your own thoughts and feeling like you're "punching the air" or "fighting with the ocean", like all the things you do are ultimately pointless and meaningless, because you're fighting with yourself and you're in a loop that it's very hard to abandon, so any cry for help or like the "snap out of it!" you scream to yourself fall on deaf ears. i think this allegory and nod to that feeling is further reinforced when we find out that Stromae was inside his mind all along, the video is a loop that never stops. it ends with his eye, the same way the video starts. also, the part when that heavy beat drops for the first time and they use slo-mo i'm pretty sure Stromae is representing a panic attack: rapid eye movements, raised heart rate, chest pain, head pain, trying to stop thinking about it, etc. it's a pretty dark and sad video/song. but it's sooo good. maybe my fav from Multitude. great reaction! and sorry for the long comment (it's a bit hard to explain in english so i always end up writing essays lol)

idk if this will be my first and last comment here so it will prob be a long one (sorry u u) i remember watching this reaction a while ago and wanting to comment because it was my fav from the ones i saw about Stromae (i liked all of your reactions to songs from Multitude really), but never did. last night i came across this video again and i'm finally leaving a comment now before i forget again hehe i gotta be honest and have to say sorry first, because i remember watching a lot of reactions to Stromae's new songs (because i had recently heard the whole album at that time) and they were all pretty meh, and found yours and thought you were gonna be another like over-the-top reactor with no opinion on the track (which is what i'm interested in, like Stromae makes pretty deep music and great MVs), but you gladly surprised me. it was my bad for judging you prematurely... i watch a lot of reaction channels for movies and whatnot, but whenever i watch music videos reactions they usually left me disappointed. most times they're very fake and rarely insightful (even when the clickbaity title says smt like "vocal coach reacts" xd), but yours wasn't. on the contrary, i liked your reaction and specially your analysis a lot. it seems that you're a pretty chill person and that you know what you're talking about (like, in the beginning immediately recognizing the harpsichord and the strings being a cello, to give one example of many), so i guess i just wanted to say that i really really liked this <3 and also the part were you watched that clip of Stromae talking about the track, and it didn't feel as a long reaction at all. i really hope you keep doing this because imho you're great and i'm sorry the pinned comment criticized you in that way. obviously Stromae is not releasing new music now :'( but when he does i can't wait to watch your reactions! also, if you happen to react to BTS songs (or the members solo songs) i'll definitely watch that too because i love them xd have a great weekend! thanks for reading! ps: i told you this was going to be long, i always end up writing essays somehow. soooorry xd

What autotune did you hear @22:28? I suggest you listen to their live band or just live version of Shooting Star, there's 100% no autotune... They aren't some western groups who can't sing & have to resolve it with such technology.
