The hot glue will melt in weather over 80 degrees +++ and if it is in direct contact with the sun for a long time. Better to use Wood Glue as it won't melt.

the way they did this was all wrong and unnecessary lol. all you need to do is pop the grate piece out of the bottom piece, then screw the grate onto the lid, pour your mixture in and make sure it covers the grate (don't overfill), and then put it in the fridge for 10-15 minutes until it hardens and when it's firmed up pop the bottom piece back onto the grate, screw it open and then use as desired.

Oh way too fast even when I tried to stop the video at every step. Really nice project, but would have loved a detailed explanation or slower pace. Got more information from the comments than from the video

There is a better way to do it Just take out the middle piece with a knife then screw it in the lid then pour in the melted lip balm base mixture until u cant see the triangle things (don’t fill it all the way) then refrigerate then pop the bottom to the top or screw it and you’ll have a eos lip balm
