We chose our 1st cruise on the Treasure because its a new ship! We chose a February cruise because we’ve always wanted to get out of the snow in Feb:) We have 3 teens so we’re all very excited!

This is very helpful. One thing I wish Disney had was Dinner buffet. As an adult with Autism, I always want my food separated in separate bowls or plates and since I serve myself at the buffet, it is always lot easier to accomplish this. Also, at the buffet, I can stay in shorts and casual clothes. Plus, since I seat myself at the buffet, I can get a table by myself. Royal Caribbean does a wonderful job to accommodate Autism, especially for adults. They have quiet areas such as Central Park, and Solarium (adults only section on the pool deck).

Are you allowed to wear costume masks on the Halloween on the High Seas cruises? I know at WDW during the Halloween party, you can’t wear any costume that entirely covers your face. It looks like on the cruises this is allowed, though, since her son wore an alien costume the completely covered his face.

There was an ASL interpreter on my last cruise. I thought was so awesome for those people.

I transferred onto the cart and they put the chair on the back. Took two carts for the 7 of us to take us back to the pier, next to the ship. So awesome. Cast Members were amazing.

There was extra sand in front of Cabana #1 last May and hard to get out of the water. Magic Band works well with the doors.

If 2 people (who don't live together) are sailing together and one person is able to checkin at 12:01am can that person fill out their information for checkin and can that person choose a boarding time for both people.? The boarding time thy choose will also be the boarding time for the other person even though the other person has supplied their checkin information?

Disney has already priced me out. Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CoCoCay is wonderful and a lot less expensive than Disney World.

did the 4 night la rochelle cruise - seas were rough! lol and the sea days were foggy, chilly and wet

a few weeks ago did one from southampton, easy to walk to port and terminal is spacious. would advise stay in hotels like holiday inn erc close by so you can get a view of the ship as soon as you wake up!

I hope the Disney Destiny has Marvel Day at Sea cruises. It will be the perfect ship for that type of cruise.

15:18 I know you’re not familiar with Black Panther, but the fictional country that he is from (Wakanda) has a lot of precious metals and people of both sexes wear a ton of very elaborate jewelry there. The gold actually fits very well with Black Panther.

8:16 Spider-Man is HUGE amongst kids right now because of the “Spidey and his Amazing Friends” show on Disney+. I have a 4 y/o daughter who loves that show and we just went to a birthday party of one of her friends who had a Spider-Man-themed party. Spider-Man is a character people from all generations are familiar with. I think it was a great choice.

There is nothing wrong with flying into IAH - as one of the largest airports in the country with service to every inhabited continent you have an almost guaranteed option of nonstop service from your home airport to IAH (Bush-InterContinental). It is very easy to get from IAH to Galveston with multiple options to avoid the downtown traffic using either the 610-loop, or Sam Houston Beltway, which will completely avoid downtown. It is very easy to simply fly into Houston, spend the night downtown or inside the loop, and the next day just Uber to Galveston.

Icon of the seas is way better than Disney Disney is over priced and out dated royal Caribbean is way better

I love Disney. It is way too expensive, but they know we will pay it and as long as they are right, they will keep going up. I think Disney is fine for adults only as long as you like Disney IP and a more PG experience. There is an adult area, adult dining upcharge options, and adult experiences like tastings. The service and luxury are worth going without kids. 😢😢There are rude people everywhere. The in person muster is an unnecessary and awful way to start your cruise with not much reasoning given by Disney. The survey system is toxic positivity. If you are honest, you could cause your servers or room attendant to not get their next contract and you can tell how terrified they are about it when they talk the survey. My biggest complaint is that the teen/tween spaces are phoned in. Yes, I realize lots of teens and tweens love it. I just look at the themed spaces for kids and then the tween and teen spaces. Older kids like amazing theming too. I'd rather be on a Disney Cruise with any flaws than home without any of DCLs flaws.
