I remember my daughter having a small turtle, it was fun when he was small, but I got scare when he got big, they stole him, he would allow her to do anything him, but gave me a hard time😢

28:53 We Dominicans don't Worship Christopher Columbus we know he was a bastard ...but history is history thats why there are museums with Christopher Columbus stuff ....and other thing is that DR was the first place that Colombus arrived when he came to The Americas so that's why we have a lot of history with the colonizers ,and all the first things in the new word started in DR

Yes 100%. Being Jamaican, i’m well aware of DR/Caribbean history especially since the colonization of my island started with its links to Santo Domingo :). So i didn’t really learn anything new in that aspect but was interesting seeing the zone & the history of how it developed. I don’t think i implied at anytime that Colombus was worshipped? I just noticed a level of respect for him that i’m not used to, which in a way is understandable?

I was hopping to see uyou show the pool at the hotel you stayed and u did not even tasted the traditional Dominican food ( the are a lot of restaurants with very good traditional Dominican food ). The cathedral was not only the first church of the Caribbean but the FIRST CHURCH OF THE WHOLE AMERICAN Continent ), Santo Dominigo is the FIRST CAPITAL OF THE WHOLE AMERICAN CONTINENT. ihope you enjoyed ur visit.

The pool was closed off on the day i went to film it, sorry 😭. Yes, unfortunately didn’t get to try much dominican food especially since my stay was so short, but hopefully next time 🙏🏽
