I still can't feel bad for him cause now Diane has to leave with the fact that she missed that call...ass.

The weak breeze whispers nothing the water screams sublime. His feet shift, teeter-totter deep breaths, stand back, it’s time. Toes untouch the overpass soon he’s water-bound. Eyes locked shut but peek to see the view from halfway down. A little wind, a summer sun a river rich and regal. A flood of fond endorphins brings a calm that knows no equal. You’re flying now, you see things much more clear than from the ground. It's all okay, or it would be were you not now halfway down. Thrash to break from gravity what now could slow the drop? All I’d give for toes to touch the safety back at top. But this is it, the deed is done silence drowns the sound. Before I leaped I should've seen the view from halfway down. I really should’ve thought about the view from halfway down. I wish I could've known about the view from halfway down

Bojack really does love Diane. For all his problems and all the terrible things he's done, he always treats her like she's his north star, or like a beacon of hope when he's at his lowest.

This is exactly the time I needed to hear this. Sometimes life gets hard when bad things keep happening to you and you want to be mad that life isn’t fair but I just have to try to be nice to everyone and hope someone will be nice back.

I can relate to Bojack a bit. I'm not narcissistic or selfish but I just sometimes don't know how to love others, especially my love interest.

Reminds me of a quote from what i think was the opening to an anime film or something: "When we face death, life is like a puppet on a festival cart. As soon as one's string is cut, it crumbles and fades."

god, just this ending makes me want to watch the whole show. i haven’t seen it, but i’ve watched so many video essays and character analyses and i know not all of the show is like this, but oh my god how i love how poignant and just, right in the heart all the serious moments are. all of the character story and character development throughout this show, at least from what i’ve seen from the videos i’ve watched just are so engaging and really make me want to watch it all awaughh

i think the last two episodes were the only ones i’ve seen in full, back when my sister got into bojack horseman and we watched the last two episodes together, but that was a few years back so i’d really like to watch them again and with the full proper context of having seen the show in its entirety, even if i know most of the main plot points already

Honestly, what freaks me out the most when it comes to death is the feeling of your own consciousness breaking apart. If the loss of activity in your brain had a feeling, it would probably feel like your becoming not yourself since each part of your brain would die off that would define your personality. This is just speculation, but the thought still makes me feel unease.
i will never get why people call suicide the "cowards way out". how could anything be scarier than this?

Dying is scary, yes it can be peaceful but we already know we can't go back once we die. Years ago i often have suicidal thoughts, so i can finally find peace. But now i think i want to live and cherish it instead because i can't go back anymore, plus i'll also feel bad if i leave my loved ones. Bojack made us think so deeply about our lives, damn🥲.

I seriously cannot believe this didn't win the Emmy. Granted, Rick and Morty's "Vat of Acid" was pretty good, however this was so strong. The way this single episode did so much and raised so much awareness for suicide prevention in such a poetic and beautiful way made it so deserving of that Emmy and so much more.

Its the most interresting way and first time i see a show, movie or videogame, dealing with life and death without the believe or use of other worlds for ghosts, souls, heaven and hell. No deep meaning or backseed to comfort the difficult subject as death. But just simply if you die, you just die and nothing else.
