With a colonoscopy, I was diagnosed with moderate Proctosigmoid Ulcerative Colitis yesterday (8/28), after about 6 months of experiencing symptoms. This was very helpful, Thank you.

I had a silent AFib and would just pass out. We couldn’t catch one on the monitor. So went to the Electrophysiologist, had the first ablation and was great for 15yrs. It started again and had second ablation. Was scheduled to get the Watchman. It was really not explained well so I canceled the surgery date. After watching this I’m going to get it done. I don’t have AFib now, but am on Eliquis. That is why watching this with the gentleman who had ablation too. I’m unsteady on my feet, so I’m doing it! THANK YOU,

@@scrippshealth , too kind! Watchman procedure now scheduled October 10th. You made a big difference! My doctor is go, go, go, go, and he figures you get it..when in fact you don’t! Glad you are doing so beautifully. I hope when I get off all the medication I will be too? Thank you for sharing your story. All the best to you both!!!

Hi Dr. Thank You for this video. I’ve subscribed. Just been through a heart cath, CAD in 5 arteries, mild to moderate in 4 & moderate diffuse in the LAD, but “non flow limiting” so no procedure and no symptoms. Also have a CAC of 900. Gone plant based. Losing weight fast. Agorvastatin 60/d. My fiancé wants a baby but I’m not sure it’s fair on her or the baby, I mean with this level of disease, could I realistically still be here in 10 years ? I’m 56 ….

I had shingles about 10 years ago (now in my early) 60's and still suffer from post herpatic neuralgia. I am on a daily dose of 150mg Lyrica and 75mg of Trepiline, which helps some of the time, but i have become used to the fact that it's a life-time ailment which i just have to live through.

I'm a patient of Dr. Cork. I'm a 77-year old retired English Literature professor from UCLA who now lives in San Diego. I was referred to Dr. Cork when a routine exam revealed that I have advanced arterial calcification, although I have no symptoms at all. Dr. Cork placed me on a routine that controls the progress, and perhaps begins to reverse it. He is very approachable, friendly, and engaging. I'm extremely happy with our relationship. As a retired professor, I give him an A+!

Hello , I developed persistent Afib in 2020 after having Covid in 2020. I had an ablation in early 2021 then another in July of 2023 . I then had a watchman device implanted in March of 2024 . I’m scheduled to get off plavix and a baby aspirin in August. I’m wondering if flying long distance for example from LAX to Brisbane Australia would be safe . I plan on asking my cardiologist the same question my next visit but just wanted another opinion. I’m a 72 yr old male in otherwise good health.

I've been getting this for a number of years now, since finishing chemotherapy. It certainly doesn't seem to be getting any better either. I had episodes of it in my youth but certainly not as bad overall. My heart keeps me awake at night, or I'm jumping out of my sleep because of how fast it's pumping I can hear it racing in my ears. I've been to a and E many times. No one seems to listen.
