I have had several tacomas, and some almost exactly like this. I have loved this series. I wish you would have matched the inside of the tailgate with the bedliner you used on the bed and removed the plastic. Such a great project and father son time. I could watch this series over and over. Thank you.

I'd say the low power comes from its being an automatic, I have the same version but manual shift and it has plenty of power!

Yea we should have put down a sealer first since the yellow was so transparent but it was a learning experience. The customer didn't care as long as it looked yellow lol

We used a mixture of JB Weld urethane epoxy and dominion sure seal urethane epoxy

im a car enthusiast and i own a gen 7 celica and as much as ur video is interesting to watch i certainly would not put fiberglass parts on and i would not change the look of any parts either, fiberglass is fragile and dangerous to use on a road worth car more so when homemade it can seriously injury by passers with sharp edges and u could be reliable for it u need to put metal arches on more safer as they bend instead of shattering, i wish u all the best and yes i do realise that this video is an old one

There are many damaged parts, it is always a good idea to thoroughly check the car, suspension and steering are important for safety, good job.

They were rotted out with rust holes in the bottoms, pretty usual for around here in Canada 😅
