@@makojuicedaniel9307 some times a bad throttle body will do this. When you check for codes check all the modules sometimes you will find a code hidden there. Good luck on you project.

I have an 06 Acura tsx, the the bank 1 sensor 1 02 sensor Says NA but I don't get any error code related to the 02 sensor being bad, the downstream 02 sensor reads between 0.9 to 0.05v. while all these are happening, my short time fuel trim is always very high (between 20 -40%) while idling.. PS, i recently changed the upstream 02 sensor, i felt it was working because the error code i was getting was gone, only of recent when i got an obd2 scanner i checked live data and saw it was inactive. Please help

@@JoeSef09 The bank 1 upper sensor is the one the ecm uses to set the fuel trim. Just because you got a new part does not necessarily mean it's good. I usually use Bosch and don't usually have a problem. Clean the maf sensor with carb cleaner and see if that makes a difference. I would next check for damage on the wire harness and clean connectors Good luck

Thanks for the very informative and interesting video. Question, were ya able to get the rpm up to spec for a reasonable flow rate? If not I would add a potentiometer and seat the dial, slide… next to the switch. Now ya got an upgraded pump with variable speed 👍no?

That's a great idea. I would have to use a resistor divider network and a higher voltage regulator because it regulates at 5 volts. 10v would do the job. I wanted to see if I could get it operational...now it's time for the crome wheels

Thank you for a great video, my A/C system was open for a few months for unrelated repairs, I replaced the condenser and dryer please tell me how much oil I need to add and the A/C refrigerant capacity for the 1997 4runner. thanks

@@transformer889 check and see if the new compressor comes with oil already if not 6 to 8 oz of PAG oil should do it. As for freon add one chargette (12oz) and see how cold the air is coming out of the vent. Usually one can is sufficient. Thanks for the great comment.

I got a 2006 Honda crv o2 sensor 2 stuck rich code Change o2 sensor down stream Twice the new one was a bosch it didnt work . I had read in different forums they never replaced with bosch or other than Denso.. Is anyone having the same problems?

It's been my experience that the bank one upper o2 sensor controls the fuel mixture look at the performance of that one to make sure your are getting the proper voltage swing. If not that might be the problem. Also check for vacuum leaks. Good luck

Yea that's a big risk of a total blow out. I have a small screw poking into one of my tires, but it's a straight puncture. I'll pull it out and pop in a repair strip and it'll be fine. This tire you have here is finished though.

You have to charge yourself something for your time. Your time has value. Add up your household expenses, then divide by the number of hours you are awake, and that is the minimum value of your time. If you aren't getting that much, you are just burning a candle to salvage wax.

Thankyou so much for the comment. I use these kind of builds for a kind of mind therapy to keep my self grounded, so instead of paying a Dr or taking meds I get broken stuff and try to fix it.....in essence I am saving $125 per hour in medical costs. Highly recommended

Please more do & a little less explaining. You should have finished the repair & showed the compressor build up pressure to the cut-off point. Also draining the tank often would not have prevented the rusty valve plate. The water condensed because of high humidity operation over time. Perhaps a squirt of WD-40 in the inlet port just before shutdown would slow down the rust. You did accurately find the root cause of no pump up condition, (the piston rings)

Any info on doors or hoods bought from OfferUp or FB market place that receipts are not generated? What does the CHP do with that? My inspection is scheduled a month from now and I have a door bought from OfferUp.

Usually if there are any labels on those parts peel them off so there is not a conflict with the vin numbers. That's what the chp would do.

Generally code will be p0326 and engine will be in limp mode.

How do you know the gasket and screen are bad and not the switch and or solenoid? Would it throw a different code?

You are able to test the solenoid on the bench and the gasket and screen are the most popular problems. The code doesn't come from this sensor but,a pressure sensor near the cam. So same code.

No not new.....that is one of the few parts that has not given the owner problems. LKQ pick a part is a good source for parts for the 4 runners.

Take your auction paperwork to dmv and apply for a red off road sticker to use this vehicle offroad. You will probably have to go to CHP to have a VIN number assigned.

So a Chrysler engine in a ford... interesting. Unfortunately it probably wouldn't fit. Biggest I've ever seen is a 351 and they used grease and a shoe horn to install that.

I replace drain plugs with Fumoto Valves. Once and done. You never have to remove the valve ever again so there is zero risk of stripping. Love those things. Never had one fail.

I've had good luck just cleaning up the primer pocket and letting the dies do the rest

@@rustbucketvalleygarage7046 My brother reloads but smaller ammo and it seems to me when the cases have been cleaned, you don't need as much lubricate on the case and they look better. It also cleans anything that might be stuck inside the case.
