I got 2015 about a year ago , for $29.000 … I took Toyota Camry and RAV4 out for a test drive as well , there is no comparison between these cars , Toyotas ride like a wheelbarrow compared to S class … it was not a brainer for me, I went hone in S class , and it was a blast ever since …

It didn’t work because all he did was disconnect the ibs from the distribution box. The ibs is integrated into the negative terminal. In order to disconnect the ibs, you have to disconnect the neg terminal. Otherwise you have to replace negative terminal. It’s not a separate piece. And if the ibs is faulty, because it’s attached to the neg terminal, it’s causing a bad ground. All he did was disconnect the adapter leads.

It's pretty cool. I seen it's been five years since you posted this video. So what kind of issues have you had with it? And was it an expensive fix?

This coming from a guy who hasn’t hit the sport button and drives nowhere close to redline. This car comes alive when you do this. How do I know? My 2003 M3 manual Slicktop sitting in my garage. I’ve owned over 80 cars in my life and my buddy who owns a 911 Turbo S says the same of the M3. They are meant to be driven. You, sir, didn’t drive it. You coasted in it

I had a boss who reasoned that if a car was 100 grand and you can buy it used for 40 grand then that car is 60% wore out.

The thing about Mercedes Benz. The car was made for people of wealth. They lease a car after the lease they lease a new Benz. Now for who dare to purchase a used Benz for a great low price. 1) you want to get extended warranty. Because what year the car is. You will be charged Mercedes Benz very high labor and parts. Personally, if you do buy a used Benz you will be with car that will be . needing increased service cost you betterextend warranty. I personally would never buy used Mercedes if I couldn't afford a new Mercedes or lease I would pass. I don't need a money pit. Good luck

what a beat. got a 85 535i myself. Some of the coolest cars out there.. like german muscle cars! but dependable and comfy enough to daily (when sorted, aircon, etc. may i reccomend highly - theres a fella who makes a conversion kif from the old tubular styke fuses to the modern blade one and man, i wish he had existed when *my* fuses started to get funky. cars back to life now but took her off the roasd for a minute. they can be tempermental, but if you know their quirks, just lovely cars and i get smiles and thumbs up all day long when rolling mine, which us kinda fun :)

So to compress pistons, there's a MUCH easier way. With the old pads still in and the caliper still mounted, just use a pair of channel locks and squeeze the pad backing plate against the caliper - I squeeze on the pad and pad retention pin head. Super fast and easy.

People comenting about expensive maintanance and fuel consumtio… of course any V8 engine will eat a lot of fuel, however, people buying this car are not your typical type who want the best fuel economy. This is not your honda civic or toyota prius people 😂 also, this is one of the most luxurious cars that you can get, so stop crying about maintannace costs because if you can not offord to take care of this car - just dont buy it, it is really that simple!
