She’s a great character but in S2 fell victim to the black woman trope (similar happened to Ekko) she gets painted as the smart strong - manipulative black woman who’s there to prop up other characters but doesn’t find love or she gets left behind. We see the same with Ekko.Saves the humanity of both Piltover + Zaun but doesn’t get the girl in the end. Overall I loved Arcane - it’s nothing like l’ve ever seen, characters are well written But it would be nice that have black characters having similar story lines where they get to keep the lover at the end. They deserve happiness too❤

Its kinda amazing how she can be both this giant of a warrior with cold pragmatism to match it but also a wise old grandma who has seen the world over and over.

It makes sense. Mothers and grandmothers who know struggle are the most pragmatic and think 10 steps ahead to ensure the survival of their family. She already lost one child because he idolized his father's methods. She is not about to loose her youngest to the same stupidity. Women are known for being softest on their last child. A warrior mother would be the most pragmatic person in a story because of the convergence of the traits.
