Saville Row is one to look for in men's stuff. Ariat jeans-bought for $7.99, sold for $42.88 in 3 days. I keep finding plus size button up blouses with side knot at waist. What are your thoughts on side knot blouses?

I don't really have an opinion. It would depend on brand, material, etc. I don't think it increases value

I love your videos! And just wondered because I saw you talk about Chase business credit cards - if you have any videos about why you chose that one? I've been so lost comparing them to other cards. Thank you!
@cayleyelaine2 күн бұрын
Do you have a chase business account already? I recommend having both a business checking and a business credit card to keep everything completely seperate from your personal. In my linktree in have the chase business account I use. I use the Chase Business Unlimited Ink Credit Card. I unfortunately do not have a video about it as I do not feel qualified. linktr.ee/cayleyelaine

Thank you so much for the informative videos. I hesitate to pick up some of the “newer vintage “ sometimes because I’m not sure how to tell the actual y2k from the newer similar styles. Are there date codes on the tags or do you just go by the style and label?
@cayleyelaine2 күн бұрын
I try not to overthink it. Does it look like an older label and have the y2k style? If so, it's y2k. I lived through y2k so it comes a little more natural to me but you could lookup tag dating for each of these brands on Google and study the older labels. To be safe as you get started, I'd start with just american eagle, hollister, and abercrombie.

I sell similar and end listings, been doing that for a few months. I just re-listed an item yesterday and it sold today. I set a goal for myself that I would make my eBay store pay my bills by the end of 2025.

I had never heard of Karen Kane before I found a cute sweater the other day. I listed it last night and it sold by 6am this morning on an offer of $40, so it may be something to watch for? I am not sure if it sold because it was unique or if it is a brand people purchase. Like I mentioned, I had never come across that brand before so not sure if it was luck or if it's a BOLO.

I am glad I am not the only one with crazy slow sales. Cost of living?! Also, a lot of really angry customers over nothing and just returns and unsatisfied customers. And I pride myself on selling excellent quality items I’d wear and buy and disclosing all flaws… like it could be all the people boycotting buying because of trump?! Lol

Majority of people voted for him, so I doubt that's it.
@lindakludka10632 күн бұрын
Not true. He won with less than 50% of the vote. Investors are worried. Just had the worst 7 day stock market performance since 1978. And when the Fed cut the interest rate yesterday, stocks fell 3% (worst since last August). People and corporations are worried.

Inflation has been a big issue, not just in the US (it's actually better here than other countries, but still enough to have a big effect on our economy). Lots of economic uncertainty right now which is bad for sales. 2025 will be an interesting year for sure.

I believe the reason why the ASP went up is because mostly people who have money and who can afford to buy more expensive items have still been shopping but the ones that look for items based on a budget have dropped out at the moment (temporarily, I guess). My sales have dropped 30% but the ASP went up. It signals that I have lost the "budget buyers" during this "end-of-the-year" period. And it can be attributed to a few factors: "budget" buyers have a lot to choose from all kind of sales going on right now with retailers. Plus, people, in general, tend to have less money to shop due to the economy. There is a category of buyers that always has money (more or less)...and they continue to shop.

Also with only 50 sales to poshmark, is it still worth it with all the time/effort/cross list fees ? I know you said stick to just Ebay, but even 5 extra sales a week would help me a lot so. Ty Dear!
@cayleyelaine3 күн бұрын
We average about 10k per month on Poshmark, so for us it's worth it. I do recommend to everyone that even if the sales potential looks great to wait until you've mastered the platform you're on before crossposting to others. Because once you crosspost, your attention will be divided and then ebay could suffer.

So much of your job has become using your vocal instrument, you might want to look into working with a voice coach to help you take care of that instrument. Please forgive the unsolicited advice. :)
