Another big cause of laminitis is also drug related like laminitis after steroids. It is not rare at all. I missed this information here.

Hi George. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Studies are still inconclusive in directly linking the use of steroids to laminitis. (Check out the PubMed link below to access the studies). That said, we always assess patient signalment, body condition, and history prior to use of steroids. How many repetitions should you do of this exercise and would it help a horse who has trouble with dragging their feet?

Hi Layla, We always recommend consulting with your veterinarian so they can assess why your horse is toe dragging. Generally speaking, we say start very slow and work your way up based on your horse's tolerance and fitness.
