Thank you- I had a fairly elaborate tribute/edit video for Ann Miller, but it was taken down. I also love Vera-Ellen.

Thank you- I've loved Malone's work since first seeing her in "Written on the Wind." She had a unique screen presence and I tried to pay tribute to it properly via her best work.

Great video, What program do you use to edit all of these clips?
@slc24663 ай бұрын
Thank you. I used PowerDirector to edit the clips and music. Before that, I used a Leawo Blu-Ray convertor program to pull clips from my Blu-Rays (had to buy an external Blu-Ray drive as well), and an Aimersoft DVD convertor program to get clips from my DVDs. My computer went kaput early this year, so I'll have to either rebuy or get the downloads of all of these programs to do any more video tributes. Haven't felt like getting into it all again (the newer tributes didn't get a lot of views or comments); I did already cover a lot of stars and genres I wanted to, including the "Monster Mash" one a subscriber requested.

Deberían en algun canal de televisión que no sea de pago haber puesto un ciclo de toda su filmografia. Me parece muy triste que no la hayan hecho porqué bien lo merece, esta gran actriz que desgraciadamente ya nos dejó hace casi 2 años.

GREAT tribute to the Queens of Film Noir! I loved seeing Helen Walker and Gail Russell included. 🙂
@slc24664 ай бұрын
Thanks! I actually did another noir tribute first (to "Talking in Your Sleep") that was temporarily taken down, but is back up now. When that video was down, I realized I had a bunch of clips from the movies I had not used, so I did the "Call Me" film noir tribute using the extra clips. Not sure if one video is better, but "Call Me" has gained more views. Rest assured Helen Walker and Gail Russell are also in the first noir tribute, if you want to check it out.

So-called "Cyd Charisse" was born Tula Ellice Finklea. Obviously just another example of 'Hollywood' deception & shallowness. Changing one's birthname is also disrespectful of heritage. The only valid reason of a name change is when women get married and add their husband's last name ...hopefully WITHOUT the unnecessary hyphen that sometimes is used, just for 'show'.

Thank you so much for this wonderful moment. Cyd Charisse is the one who inspired me to start ballet. Seeing her again gives me so many emotions..Her grace is unique in the world. For me, she is the symbol of elegance, acquired with an incredible talent and by training so hard.
