Was that Mike Tirico calling the game? I do recall him calling games on ABC during the Michigan-MSU game.

Hester's top end speed is incredible, his quickness and acceleration is unequaled but his ability to make hard cuts at full speed was unique. And thats what made him the greatest kick returner in college football and NFL history.

With Butch Davis, I do believe even this '05 team would've been in the mix that year.

I tell fools (especially Florida hator fans) this all the time. VT always plays Miami with their all. 2024 was nothing new.

Had Butch Davis stayed, Miami was built to dominate for at least a decade, maybe longer. Just look at all the future Pro Bowlers on special teams as backups.

Look at the refs running at the celebrating Hurricanes after every big play .. I saw this every once in a blue moon in other games but literally everytime a player from Miami began to celebrate ? The refs would bump the player get in his face and had something to say usually threw a flag This U has been a target of the ncaa for decades and it's been disgusting to watch honestly I remember seeing the refs act like this one game and couldn't unsee it , it was all i saw from that moment until they changed the rules on celebrating years later

Maurice Clareet was the BEST freshman running back in NCAA history better than Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker.

Even the 46-3 final score made the game look closer than it was. Miami absolutely broke Texas' spirit. If they had a playoff back then, The U wins the 1990-1991 natty easily.

I live an hour from tally, mom graduated a Nole. Dads been one his whole life. This is the man responsible for making me a Miami fan. I got a Hester jersey and would be juking trees in the yard saying “here goes Hester.” I’d throw the ball up in the air and catch the “kick” and crib it. I had the plastic Miami helmet to go with it. 10 year old kid. GO CANES🤣🙌🏻🧡💚

Wow by far the best video I’ve seen for the Canes. I was at those Florida State games as a child so it brought tears to my eyes. My dad is no longer with us, but I thank him for these beautiful memories. Let’s go Canes!! 🙌🏻

I’ve been watching this video since I was a little kid I’m 18 now. I have never seen Miami with guys like these but I think the U might be back. This video always makes me feel some way all the stories my dad would tell me about how good we were and I’d always watch this video every year hoping for something but I finally think we got something knock on wood.

That opening touchdown run on the opening play of 2nd half might be the greatest run in the history of football at any level. Marshawn lynch threw off Tracy porter. The Florida running back broke a Sean Taylor tackle en route the end zone which has to be the most impossible task in the history of football. 😂
