I grabbed one and it is impressive. And as others have said, this would be AWESOME in a Warrior Mini format, with it's 18650 battery and the longer runtime!

Шо то ху@ня, шо это. Феникс как всегда синюшный 6500К, найткор на непонятном чипе, у которого CRI производитель даже написать боится.

Can't go wrong with E12. And as much as I am tempted to buy one of the Rovyvon Aurora lineup, my E12 v1 is still king as it is simple to operate and all you really need. Once it dies if at all I will be geting the v3 or whatever iteration of the E12 is currently on the market. For me the AA battery and low medium high is all you need. 130 to 200 lumens is plenty and even the highend flashlights default to 200 lumens after sometime to prevent overheating. I love the metal tail switch as the rubber breaking on mine was something that temporarily killed it after moisture got on the switch, but managed to fix it and fit a new rubber button. Many times have I wanted a magnetic tail cap as keeping it in my mouth is the reason it faulted the first time. The v3 looks like a solid successor, my only gripe would be the memory mode as I know it is a good thing but I kinda got used to starting from the lowest and do relly on that order when using it at night.

I think most additional illumination is needed within 15’. Among many others over the years, I currently carry a tiny Lumintop FWAA that utilizes 3, 4000k Nichia emitters.

Really, this is bad and causes confusion when buying. The cl28r has lumens, but it had a defect in the fixed battery, and now they put a fixed battery with a reduction in lumens in this type of lamp that you will often use in a nearby place. What is the benefit of distant throw? This is nonsense. I was hoping that it would maintain the power and remain light. Distracted as possible

Why not just use colored filters like the HT-18 intead of having 3 different led ? Anyone ? Will be using it as a dedicated hunting lamp using the fenix barrel mounting clamp.

Fenix designed this model of flashlight for power plant and metal foundry workers, and SpaceX and Space Station technicians and astronauts who work in places where there is strong magnetic fields and radiation which might affect the push button circuitry in other lights. Rotary switch means the light still functions even in the presence of strong EMP.

Nice light, BUT I will never understand the logic behind choosing this type of stepping the brightness levels, I mean from 30 lumens to 200 lumens!! Why? Why not something like 80 lumens in the middle which would be a lot more useful with longer runtime than the maximum 200 lumens actually. OK, keep the 200 lumens as turbo mode, for emergencies, but 80-100 lumens would double the run time with enough light to use even outdoors, walking at night, etc. That "wasted" space between 30 and 200 lumens doesn't make sense to me...

How does this stack up against the Nitecore MT1C Pro? Do you have a preference? Anything away you one way or the other?

It depends what you're looking for in a light. If it's THROW, then this is the one.

They need to make a warrior mini turbo. I carry a Surefire Stiletto Pro 2 (as a defensive light) and a Baton 3 (for utility) every day. But A warrior mini turbo would be a decent backup to the Surefire.

2:55 The headlamp is indeed removable from the tilting headband attachment. There's a clip on the back to split the plastic attachment into two parts to detach the headlamp.

Compare those 3 with the Nitecore SRT7i at night and you have your clear winner. So damn bright for a much much longer time and nearly same price...

This is like comparing someone that is 4ft to someone that is 8ft. The MH12 has twice the turbo, but twice the heat and it steps down fast.I would still buy the Fenix though because I don't have to drop it when it starts smoking in my hands from being too hot.

I used a pd35 back in the day when I was doing turnarounds for aircraft. It still, to this day, has been my absolute favorite edc light. I’ve had almost every other brand flashlight since and none have ever dethroned the overall function and quality of my Fenix.

Great video. Thanks! Please stop gesturing with the light and just hold it still so we can see it. Haha. Would have been nice to see a few more beam throw demos. Great video though otherwise! Much appreciated!
