That tub is not 1 meter deep. All you need is a 1meter long PVC pipe filled with water. Dump it in there to test it overnight a la nutnfancy.

Thanks, note IPx means not tested for particular infiltration. It would have to state IP1 or more. 2nd number ie IP17 7 meaning water rating.

7year owner of the original e12 and still using . the single most impressive thing is the switch. I got it in 2017. Everyday use on and off 10 times minimum . That’s roughly 30,000 clicks, the low end of my estimate. That’s pretty amazing. I would not be surprised if they changed it to a sure to fail switch. Long live the original e12. And hope they used the same switch as he original

Didn't know there was no tail switch. Dealbreaker for me. Tail switch for on/off with mechanical rotary for memory (with an off position as an option) would be an instant buy

Thank you for pointing out that it can be charged while in use. No one else reviews this. Most headlamps won't do this, and it is a great feature to be able to put a power bank in your pocket for long, high-brightness use.

200 lumens is equal to only 15 watt incandescent bulb. Walmart sells a 4 pack of LED ceiling fan bulbs of equal brightness for only $7. It's very dim. Yet you call this "bright" and sell this dim flashlight for $35 ??? I think I'll pass. People, look at the lumens written on lightbulbs next time you're in the store. It will help you make better choices. But I do highly agree that common batteries are the way to go. Rechargeable batteries don't recharge forever and you don't want to be without a flashlight for a week in bear county because you have to order a custom battery pack.

First off.. Nitecore is my favorite flashlight company..that being said, the Nitecore mt2c. for lack of better words is a joke..it starts off in high and regardless what people think that doesn't make a flashlight (tactical)..it should have had mode memory so (we)as the consumers could have a choice in what brightness to start out in.

This is a great flashlight but it’s not an all around flashlight. The beam is epic and great for walking and exploring but not for general room searching, looking for stuff, etc.
