Why do these schools even wrestle against one another? There’s such a disparity in talent. When I was younger Iowa dominated wrestling, now Penn State possesses the same level of dominance.

What they have been doing for the last decade has been working pretty well with winning 11 out of the last 13 national titles. They start out easy then finish at their peak on the top of the podium. Other programs burn their guys out too early and they struggle through the postseason…like Iowa.

That is a crazy impressive performance. This PSU team is the strongest I have seen top to bottom. Hard to see them dropping even 2 matches against ANYONE in a dual.

Great that you provide these video that are clearly student produced. As a Penn State Alum and former wrestler, you would think a school like Penn State could find someone who is tech savvy and knowledgeable enough to run the on screen score board properly. Also, perhaps commentators who know something about wrestling might be in order.

The purpose of a University is learning. These students will improve. Give them a chance. They are already far better than the student announcers from other Big Ten schools.

I agree with you. @tobybestonsr8625 These are college level students who may be looking for a career in broadcasting of some sort. We should not make excuses when it's obvious they are not putting in the work to get better. That's on them!!! In typical today's soft expectations on college level students is whats wrong with college. ( to satisfied with everyone getting participation trophies and these are college adults ) Have them work on getting better on their time, not ours!! They need to be prepared when they start talking!!!
