Thank u so much for the tutorial . Everything explained so clearly. What's that's pliers you used to punch a small nail hole and where can I get one ? Thanx for an excellent video.

Glad it was helpful. You can get the Metal hole punch plier at Amazon. I updated the description with a link to the one I use if you’re interested in getting one.

Perhaps, but it was too scratched to restore; the veneer is very thin. If I ever find another one in better shape, I'd restore the wood.

Y'all each explain things so patiently, and work so calmly to do this project. My initial twinge of sadness at seeing a Singer get deconstructed faded when I remembered how few people would know how to do anything with such a model of sewing machine. As commented elsewhere, heavy duty bookends for heavy duty book readers is difficult to find in the marketplace, it has seemed to me. And, finally, how very wonderful that your YT proceeds are to benefit Alzheimers research. Bless you both 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏼

I have the same damage on mine as you did. I submitted a claim but wanted to know how they handled yours. I do not want to completely unpack and then have to return the unit. I’m hoping that they just send me a new panel that I can replace.

Did you buy through xTool? They did ask me to pack and return it. They arranged pickup and then sent me another unit once it was returned.

Glad it was helpful! Did you make sure that the gantry is absolutely parallel? Also, I find if I zoom in close when using the close view camera that I can position it better. If all else fails, join the xTool P1/P2 official group on Facebook and reach out to support (Jennifer Tian)

Very lousy, not even a word about how 2 install, crap....
@BirdzofaFeatherАй бұрын
As it’s only a 30 second short, and installation is a long process, there isn’t much that can be covered in this format. Most people appreciate learning (if they didn’t already know) that there is a waterproof membrane that can be used underneath real wood in a basement to protect the wood from dampness. Are you installing in a basement? If so, you can read more detail about the install here: birdzofafeather.ca/diy/engineered-hardwood-floor-basement-installation/

So have you ever transfered down without fearhers, from one case to another? I just tried and it was a huge mess. I couldnt grab the down without it flying all over. Its not like feathers which seem heavier and larger. The down is impossible to control. Do you have any suggestions. Please!!
@BirdzofaFeatherАй бұрын
I’ve only ever done this method with feathers, so I don’t honestly know. Down is so much lighter so I can imagine it would get everywhere. Maybe try slipping the empty case over the full one and then push the down out as I did in the beginning of the video. Just substitute the second case for the plastic bag?

What about a iPad without a home button?
@BirdzofaFeatherАй бұрын
Without a home button, my guess would be that you’d have to swipe up from the bottom center instead. You’ll have to experiment to see if you can get it to work.
