Forever notorious and Goat’d. Probably my favorite broadcast. It was flawlessly executed and forever is nostalgic in anyone that liked OTR.

@@retronomeradio yes it was it was one of the premier episodes of tales of the unexpected Elaine Stritch the American actress played Mary can’t remember who played her husband.

Forgot to add it was also adapted for radio from the man in black series in the late 80s and early 90s it was introduced by Edward DeSousa and it was a very good adaptation

The thing I find very disturbing about this play, is that it isn't Sci Fi . The Fact is the Real world at large - is full of people who are every bit as selfish, as stupid & ignorant as the characters William and the Dr. - We can't include V.Price Here, since this is an adaptation, rather than an original play. Don't get me wrong... I LIKE the play, along with the Price Of Fear series, and this channel, to which I've subscribed. Thanks for posting it.

A gentle correction . . . In your description, you write that Suspense ran from 1940 - 1962. The "pilot" episode aired in 1940, but the actual series began in 1942.

Yes, you are correct. I briefly considered this when typing that info but decided not to differentiate for the sake of creating a more succinct description. Nice catch.

It took two years for mine to catch on, plus there's at least half a dozen others who have uploaded Suspense (and Escape) Your channel name is excellent. BTW I've made many mistakes (mostly name spelling) over the years, and boy do people let me know! Also, thanks for responding to my comments - Charlie
