Leech in poe2 works differently. There's no 20% cap or 1% cap per second per instance or anything like that. If you leech 1% of damage, you will recover that 1% in 3 seconds. 1% of 170k is 1,7k leeched, so you should invest in more % leech to make that your full life. Then if it's instant you just have all that goodness instantly. However, given that there's a 25% leech is instant notable, maybe getting more leech % to get a good instant value + then having the remainder over time is better that using a whole ascendancy node. Like, the bloodmage has 10% of spell damage leeched as life, that's 17k leeched over 3 seconds, with the 25% instant node that's around 3k instant and 14k over 3 seconds.

Why give them a brake ? We pay 30$ to play when the game is available, they created and fueled a lot of hype so they better be ready, they should be ready as they had more time to prepare. They have a good estimate of the numbers of people who will play and they should assume everyone will play on day one, so get the infrastructure ready (servers/loadbalancing/dynamic load management and server allocation etc….).

It got removed this afternoon actually! I made an update about it

problem seems that ur passive tree is VERY spread out at this point (all the mana/ES + keystones are on the top side and all the crossbow utility/dmg stuff is on the bottom side/right side) my prediction is (even tho i like the idea of it)... u will endup fairly squishy and/or hit like a wet noodle later on, which would lead into a downward spiral since u have to hit fast and hard to leech enough to keep u tanky.

But it's manastacker archetype ... the acolyte himself has ONLY instant mana leech and replaces all auras for 30% extra chaos dmg at 100lvl. There is only one useful node in the whole ascendancy 🤣

​@@peterlusstig2680 You should do DEX stacker to improve atk speed, you are crossbow user, not melee to be tanky. Only MOM need go top left side to take it, CI and EB top right, dex is on the road, when you go down take crossbow point. The best way should be DEX stacker, not a manastacker. You want to be manastacker, better play lightning spell with archmage.

@ sure, though it depends, on poe1 many builds were glass cannons, sanctum builds even more. In addition, maybe skill tree can cover defences to a good extend - I doubt it

@TheXboxSux You definitely can. Just as an example, in PoE 1 I played the Shadow, the assassin type character, as a critical strike caster, a damage over time caster, a wand attack build, and an archetypal dagger stabbing build.
