2:04 The MD305 doesn’t have mahogany back and sides, it has maple back and sides… The one with the mahogany you are thinking of is the MD415.

Beautiful mandolin! I just got the f-style version, the MD-315, last week and absolutely love it. I also bought from Kieran Moloney in Galway - great shop. Yours looks and sounds great too.

Hey Bill, just got mine on Saturday from Fullerton, CA. If I'm not mistaken the back and sides are maple, spruce top. Sounds beautiful.

I get that way. I'm getting the nut recut to make the pairs tighter and the space inbetween further. Also going to try some flatwound strings. And I have no idea what 37 means

Ha… no idea what 37 is.. typo. One of those months . Yea I hear ya with the nut, though I find the strings a bit farther than my other mando especially when hitting two sets together , but ill adapt. Don’t want to start messing with it … yet . Might try out the flat wound strings . 👍

The bandit is a heavy lump which is out classed by the fazer 600, more power, lighter, faster bigger tank, better handling, the 900 hornet is in a different class completely, almost no contest 🤷🏻‍♂️ and perhaps a better comparison would be the hornet 600

Different strokes for different folks. It is a heavy bike compared to the Fazer , but like all bikes , its handling is as good as its rider 👍
