Oldest university town...Uppsala?....everybody knows that Lund is the oldest university city in Sweden...but yes it was danish when it was founded....🥰

What I find in both universities’ websites is that Uppsala university was founded in 1477 where it is referred to as “the first university in the Nordic countries”and Lund university in 1666. @@NookCrannyTrips The comment was written with some irony because in sweden there is constant battle which one was the oldest. As the south part of sweden was danish until 1658 it depends on how you count. Uppsala is the seat of the archbishop in sweden and lund at that time for east Denmark. Both very powerful strongholds. Then the education was within the church and the monastaries of whom there were plenty. Anyhow both cities are wonderful with a charachter of its own. I have lived in both.

Was the performance showed in English or Chinese? Bcz I think it won't be worth looking if I don't understand the language.

The language was in Chinese, with some short on the screen explanation in English. But the language was not the main part of the performance, the dance, harmony, light and sound technology were. We enjoyed it even though we did not (still don’t) understand Chinese.

The park is located in Shanghai Expo Park. Here is the address: 1750 Shibo Dadao, near Changqing Bei Lu, Pudong District 世博大道1750号, 近长清北路 It is a one day tour with different performances and activities including the show you mentioned all included in one ticket. The time for the performance depends on the day you visit I think but as mentioned it is going to be a one day tour so try to be there around 10 am or so.

@ Sure! Would be happy to help. That is not the opening ceremony. The best would be to book the ticket in advance online. When you book the day, you will be offered time slots for the show you are referring to. So you can only participate in the one you book. If you are in China the best is to use mini app in WeChat (search for songcheng in official mini apps) to book. If you are abroad you can use app Klook. When we visited the park, there were several interesting shows and events spread over the day so I would recommend considering a whole day.

@ You are welcome! We were there around 11:30 and it was a bit late so we needed to be quick and we missed one outdoor performance. I do not know when they open but in Shanghai things come to life around 9:00 - 10:00 so I suggest you to be there then. There were three indoor performances, two big ones (main performance and earthquake show) and one short (combination of Chinese and western style dancing).

@@lindateng02 My pleasure! It can be made in half a day as well (like we did) but it was a little like run-and-see and we missed one item. Maybe not a full day either but like a 3/4 day specially if you have kids.

😂😂😂 We had actually a great tour leader. These kind of things happen when going for hiking and I actually like surprises like this. If a hiking tour goes 100% according to plan, either something has gone wrong or I have participated in a wrong tour 😂
