This video makes me love where I am from . I was born here but moved down south in elementary and was back n forth since high school, I never attended PHS but I did PMS for 7th and 8th grade. I lived on S. Hamilton and Academy st a couple times. I had family that lived in Smith Street Projects and lots of friends that stays there I was there often in the early 90s . I lived in the MLK projects that wasn’t shown in this video off Washington street for awhile as well! This video brought back many nostalgic memories for me!

The Russian guy talking about Russian oligarchs, his sister is married to Russian mafia man, who is extremely wealthy, hence they supported this little prick’s education to present Russian mafia to the western world. These are deeply corrupt people not businessmen, it’s disgusting how money overrides all

unfortunately today any speech against the proscribed speech is not tolerated. I miss my tenor at Vassar as a student attending in the 1990's where all speech was explored and discussed!!

I am also a Vassar alum -- from the 1960s -- and just saw this in 2023. Very interesting to think through the past 11 years since Gloria spoke these words. I think her theme of dependence/independence/interdependence is still spot on. Ann Northrop was a friend at Vassar, although several classes behind me. To think that my class ('68) had Mayor John Lindsay as the graduation speaker (and so many of us handed him a rose while shaking his hand) and that two years later the class of '70 (through Northrup) had Gloria Steinem with students wearing peace hats -- well, that pretty much says it all -- the world changed in those two years dramatically. --Pat Cain

Liberals democrats and black people LOOOOVE to talk about skin color even when it is irrelevant. Criticize obama? Racist. ID to vote? Racist. Want to stop 15,000 illegal immigrants EVERY DAY? Racist.
