Lili Marlene was originaly Danish. Sung by all sides. And... Always sung by men. Although it is about a woman.

As much smoking as Frank did, I'm surprised his voice lasted as long as it did (golden voice) and I still love his music. Never get tired of it. RIP MR. SINATRA.

I have learned so much about Sir Robert since obtaining a rare figure of his Child Catcher character from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I had no idea he was who he was in so many movies, like The Red Shoes and on. What a talent! And what a classy man! I am honored to have obtained the figure, and am glad to learn more about his career.

This is from the one man comedy concert that Groucho did at Carnegie Hall in the early 1970's when he was about 85 years old. Marvin Hamlish accompanied Groucho on piano. I bought the double LP of the concert back in 1974.

I always feel that Judy Garland truly loved to entertain. And it was not “ oh look here I am”. She was just herself and loved to entertain. She was always in the moment and the audience took the ride with her.

I refused to believe my father could have suffered such fears. How could he have thought, even for an instant, that we wouldn't love him? How could he have possibly thought that? Suddenly I wanted to go back and do it all over again, to make my father understand that we couldn't live without him, that without him holding us together we would drift hopelessly apart. Didn't he know that? Hadn't he known? The alternative was unthinkable. "Good night, soldiers," he used to say, after he tucked us into bed. Didn't he know that we were sad to see him go, to watch his silhouette swaggering down the hallway? We lay awake, wondering what adventures he had in store for us the next day. We squirmed in our beds, anxious for sleep, for morning. Anxious just to see him again. Didn't he know that these were the greatest nights of our lives? Simply because he would be there in the morning. Our dreams were hopeful and our futures bright and we loved him, we loved him. Oh, how we loved him.

You're just to marvelous Too marvelous for words Like glorious, glamorous And that old standby amorous It's all too wonderful I'll never find the words That says enough, tell enough I mean they just aren't swell enough You're much, too much, and just too very very To ever be in Webster's dictionary And so I'm borrowing a love song from the birds To tell you that you're marvelous Too marvelous for words You're much, you're too much And just too very very To ever be, to ever be in Webster's dictionary And so I'm borrowing a love song from the birds To tell you that you're marvelous To tell you that you're marvelous To tell you that you're marvelous Too marvelous for words.
