Was this freshwater flooding in Metairie for your home? I know some flooded in JP that wasn’t breach-related. I seem to recall all of the homes that had the lake come in for a visit were all saltwater flooding with damage looked like your friend’s house with the mud, black mold everywhere, dead vegetation, etc. I also noticed that you got power back in two weeks which I doubt anything came back to the Orleans side of the 17th for a while. Heck, it took us a month to get power back and we were just west of Metairie. I remember the night and day difference of crossing the 17th like it was yesterday.
