I am a fifth grade teacher with over 20 years experience in primary and intermediate grades. I attended UCLA and studied English literature there. I really hope to help fifth graders with this difficult math program. We use Eureka Math which follows the Common Core approach to mathematics. It's hard for kids! I hope to help kids gain a better understanding of these challenging math concepts. Math was not my strong suit when I was young and I did not enjoy it. Now, I really LOVE teaching it! I usually try to include some notes before the video so that kids can have a little background before jumping into the lessons. I hope I am helpful for you all!
