Why dont you leave the carb on to the airbox, that way you only need to loosen up 1 rubber

One thing in this video that is important to note is that you want to take the tension off of the chain tensioner BEFORE you reinstall it. You do this by getting a small flathead screwdriver into the middle bolt hole and turning it to take off the spring tension.

Did you have to sand/scuff the primer once it dried or do you just spray paint over the primer without sanding it? Also do you use clear over it?

I didn’t scuff the primer, just tack rag it and use some wax and grease remover if you touch it between coats

Same bro mines been engaging late ever since I put in new clutch so Ik it’s not the clutch.. time to adjust

@@guero5096 did you manage to get the clutch to engage earlier? My pedal engages extremely late, I had the clutch checked and it is fine, I have no comparison if this late engagement is normal for rd1/2 cr-vs?

All you needed to do was loosen the lockbolt a smidge then rotate the push rod itself. No need to pull the pin.😁😁

Any rubbing issues? Did you have to cut or trim any metal?

No sir! No cutting. A little rub in the rear but I didn’t put in the trailing arm spacers that came with the 1” subframe drop.
