also have a reverse osmosis thingie at home. What a difference it makes! Wow. Making tea is a real science. I have been watching a few videos today and one says that for black tea the temperature cannot be too high but doesn't mention what the limit would be. Here 99°C. Then the British scientist (wearing a lab coat and all) says that black has to steep for 5 minutes. I feel like I've been making tea wrong my whole life (putting the water first at times, not letting it seep long enough, using cheap tea bags instead of loose tea...). I love your collection of teapots. They are so pretty. I have a couple of nice ceramic cups/mugs and when I want to make bigger amounts I use the 1 L thermos bottle. It does the work but I feel like having a teapot and making a ritual out of it could be quite nice. A friend does the two teapot method. I've always found it a bit silly because "why two? There is a siev in that one" but it does have an effect on how it tastes. For me it feels like so much work, so much to do and so much to clean afterwards but I do think that if we are present doing all of this, it might be a great experience to calm down and enjoy the moment. Oh, what a nice set you show at the end. Can I come over for tea? :) Black with oat milk or green are my favourites :)

So from the looks of it, you don’t use any tea strainer to keep the tea leaf in while it steep within the tea pot with the hot, instead you just throw your loose tea leaf into the tea pot with the water?

Water is always H20. There's no such thing as water rich in oxygen. There's water richer in minerals than others. The oxygen is always the same. And if you overboil the water it's always H20.

I just wanted to clarify a point here. As soon as you see the first bubbles in your kettle, that means water is boiling. Water boils at a constant temperature (100°C at sea level), and this can vary a few degrees depending on your conditions. So it's wrong to assume that more bubbles = more temperature

Chinese people are used to serving tea to guests and have formed a corresponding tea etiquette. For example, when inviting a guest to drink tea, the cup should be placed on the tray and offered with both hands. The cup should be placed in front of the guest's right hand. When talking and drinking, the guest should be provided with water in time. The guest should be good at "taste", sipping tea slowly and taking small mouthfuls instead of gulping it down.

green tea benefits Green tea is usually made from the new leaves or buds of the tea tree without fermentation, through curing, shaping, drying and other processes. Green tea generally has the effects of improving eyesight, anti-aging, refreshing and clearing the mind. The details are as follows: 1. Improve eyesight: Green tea is rich in vitamin A, which has many physiological functions such as promoting growth, maintaining bones, regulating vision, etc. Therefore, green tea generally has the effect of improving eyesight. 2. Anti-aging: Green tea is rich in tea polyphenols, which have strong antioxidant properties and physiological activity. Drinking green tea can resist aging to a certain extent, so green tea generally has anti-aging effects. 3. Refreshing and clearing the mind: Green tea contains a certain amount of caffeine, which can excite the central nervous system of the human body and thus has the effect of refreshing and clearing the mind.
