As someone who’s lived through the retro era, this is one of the beat em ups that I’ve never heard of up until now. Saw a screenshot of this on Facebook, so that’s what brought me here. I’m sure Fightcade has this. Recently learned about “Night Slashers” another beat em up that flew under my radar at that time.

It seems that this version is much easier than the North American version? The bosses take a lot fewer hits to kill and there are unlimited continues.

I thought the neo geo would slow down heavily with enemy projetiles occupied the screen everywhere but little or no slowdown. Never seen past games running so smooth. The Neo geo is indeed a 2D super power house.

Yes it's my favorite pvm, firstly for the size and secondly for the quality of the picture, not the sharpness but the most natural

@@Bun74thanks for the reply in English :) I may be able to pick one up for £450. Do you think it's worth it? It only has cosmetic damage but apparently its nicely calibrated and very little use. If I use different consoles, is it adjustable from the front or do I have to open the CRT up and adjust manually?

@@sinetwo it worth if the pvm is in a good condition, but the weakness is for the settings of the screen (size, position, geometry, convergence etc.) you have to open the monitor to adjust. 😉If you lucky get a pvm 2950 at least you could adjust with the front control

@@Bun74 Thanks! I think the prices in the UK are crazy now. I think France will at least get PVMs and CRTs from Germany or even from within France. But UK has limited stock and retro gaming here has gone too far, so there is no way I can find a 2950 for a decent price. Also the 2950 will not fit up the stairs to my loft LOL

@@sinetwo I forgot to tell you something important, it's the biggest weakness of this pvm, is the quality of the composite and s video, it is very bad ghosting and colour very bad, maybe is possible to adjust inside but I want not try and to make it worst. So only rgb is the way to go, maybe if you can find take a pvm 20*** or a jvc is the best quality picture in my opinion

You know if there's any fan inside this monitor? My unit operates around 2 hours and "shutdown" stay on but don't show any image. But when is cool down seems perfectly fine.

And you know if this really output 240p or interpreters that as 480i? Because i connector my PS1 in RGBs and show image but on the menu show 480i 60.
