Nice result. Never tried speed painting, but maybe I will, considering how lazy I am. Just one thing.. It seem like your brush is always loaded with too much paint. That can lead to clogging some of the recesses, like on the weapon.

My marine speed paint approach: black spray prime > base coat low angle zenithal spray with your colour of choice e.g. Macragge Blue > light dry brush of highlight colour e.g. Calgar Blue > paint all pouches and guns black > silver for gun barrels etc > shoulder trim > eyes > purity seal > base > done. The key is the zenithal base coat spray over black. Basically all the shading and main base coat colour done in total time of about 20 seconds. Also recommend using Contrast Black Templar or Black Legion as your black paint. Flows so well and covers almost as well as full opacity base paints.

for better result prime in black after use the fang after you use russ grey you wash crack and corner with agrax earthshade and do all line with fenrissian grey, they gonna look less 2nd edition, the color is so saturate we have difficulty to see contrast and highlight

Always good to see a fellow DA painter. I tend to sponge on the green over a black primer, that always comes out looking lovely and dark.

For a darker color like that green, I'd suggest trying an darker wash and really *slathering* it onto your surfaces. Washes are just pigments thinned down with tons of flow improver, which will eventually evaporate away. No need to mop up, you want that surfactant effect. The wash will naturally seep to the lowest points and create gradients that won't require going back over with your brush. Surprisingly good looking for a quick basecoat!

Modern ultramarines look pretty gay man 😂 his little emblem on his chest and his fancy gold trim! Hes so pretty! Come on guys compare this chap to a proper ultramarine like in the 80s! mk6 all day baby, they looked like medieval knights with the pointed mask, the studded shoulder and often sporting a chainsaw for a bayonet. New designs are weak, especially this primaris crap

Ill pass. GW gets absolutely none of our groups money anymore untill they drop the prices and actually make good box sets. Not haphardly piled together for the FOMO season crap weve been seeing. They want to cater only to the "tournament" crowd, so be it. 3D prints are amazing now, with many recasts being near perfect replicas. Ill support a 3D maker for all my 30k, 40k, Necromunda and Underworld miniature. Oh, and One Page Rule over weeks rules, points, and movement changes. GW is sinking into the sewer with current managment. Its a husk company, souless and barren of ideas.
