i didnt know that i would enjoy so much your music vlogss! i was a cellist for 12 years but i quit before my diploma for ballet and uni lol but i can totally relate about the thing you said for the beautiful pieces you hear when you study from other musicians.. its just so inspiring to continue studying haha<3 i missss this feeling! also youre so cute !!!!

I am planning on studying law as a postgraduate degree but I am currently studying French and English as an undergraduate and I am also taking violin lessons at a music school every week. Including other extracurriculars, it has been difficult balancing between all of them but I strive to improve myself and reach greater heights even if I become very sleepy at the end of the day. Overall, just wanted to say that I can relate to a degree. I wish you the best of luck in your pursuits, eubiin!

When I hear this I think different things: a) What an overachiever b) Reminds me of some famous musicians of the past where the family wanted something "solid" and made them study law first, all the while all they wanted to do was be a musician. Example: Robert Schumann. Was forced to study law by his father, never majored, "wasted" his time writing essays anr reviews about music and learning how to compose instead.

what is it like to audition for mdw? is it a very selective process? and are all the classes in german? love your videos ♥️

Yes it is selective but it also depends on the diploma you are applying for + the name of the teacher. I had to prepare an etude, a bach, a sonata, a concerto, and then tell you shortly before your audition, which parts of your programm they want to hear. I also needed to pass a music theory exam and a german proficiency test for B1 (even if u get the instrumental & theory part, if ur german is not good enough you cannot get into mdw). And yes all the classes are in german ! Thank you🥹🫶

@@TraNguyen-rc5fq I actually ended up in Wien by chance : i didn't get into the 2nd round of Paris Conservatory, so i thought maybe that was a sign from the universe to tell me to only pursue law. And i didn't apply anywhere else because my law school was already in paris. But then my teacher and family convinced me to try again, even foreign music unis. Back then i think it was around april / may, and MDW was the only school in europe that i was interested in and that was still organizing auditions for next fall. That's how I applied :)

I really enjoyed learning about the burnt toast theory. My day got off to a rough start today. I had an appointment for a portrait photoshoot for my upcoming graduation from uni scheduled for 12pm. However, I didn't realize a last-minute update was made yesterday, changing my group's time to 9am. I woke up at 8am and was slowly cleaning my room until 8:30 when I checked my texts and noticed the updated time. I had to rush to take a quick shower, put on a dress, and call a taxi. I felt disappointed that I wasn't able to take my time, do my makeup, look cute, and even take a walk in the nice weather to the place. But now I'm thinking and what if they hadn't changed the time and walking to the place would have caused me to get into an accident🤯. So, thanks a lot, and once again, I really enjoyed watching this short vlog before continuing work on my thesis💙💙.
