Blejska kremšnita is a local speciality. The original DOES NOT come from the Bled castle. It was invented in 1953 at the cafe of Hotel Park in bled. It is part of the cream slice family with the Vienna and the Zagreb cream slices.

Hi! Thanks for this. I think our tour guide got the information incorrect about kremšnita’s origin but thanks for setting it straight.

So great to see your food tour, lots of great information about Slovenija for people who are thinking of visiting. One small thing (I know I'm being a pain haha) Gostilna simply means "guest house" something like an inn or tavern, which have existed for hundreds of years.. the term you are referencing is "Gostilna Slovenija" not simply Gostilna. The government introduced the "Gostilna Slovenija" brand, which aims to link the most high quality culinary offers of Slovenian cuisine in the country and to increase the recognisability of Slovenian cuisine, as you said :)

Hello, thanks for sharing. We are planning to spend a few days in this hotel and we would like to know if they offer shuttles to the main sites in Dubai ?

Hi there, hope you have a great time at the hotel. The hotel has a shuttle to the airport but I don't believe they have shuttles to tourist sites. However, it would be worth checking with the hotel directly for up to date info!

Hi, thanks so much for your comment and amazing to meet like-minded travellers! I would recommend reaching out to my tour coordinator called Aahil. I found him to be very reliable and responsive to questions on-the-go. His whatsapp is +91 885 988 8991. He will coordinate a trustworthy driver. Sometimes the driver's English is limited but Aahil is available readily on whatsapp to answer any questions that the driver can not answer. I made a video on my 5-star hotel experience in Delhi called Leela Palace in New Delhi which was absolutely amazing. Hope this helps! Have a wonderful time in India.

Australian here ... I left Australia in 2023 and moved to Slovenia. I live in the Ljubljana city centre on the edge of the New Town. Spent months apartment hopping in the Old Town. Such a pretty cosy city, safe and peaceful. Your smile radiated your enjoyment. The bird is a South American cousin of the emu and ostrich. I got caught out too.
@TheLensCapChronicles7 күн бұрын
G'day! Wow, so glad to hear from an Aussie in Slovenia! Thanks for your lovely feedback. Glad that you could set me straight on the big bird! Do you know what species it is? The owner said it wasn't either emu/ostrich but didn't elaborate much on the actual species. So great to hear from you. Hope you are enjoying Ljubljana & the beautiful country of Slovenia. All the best!!

Nice video! Love how much you were enjoying Ljubljana. Carniola sausage is actually the origin of your Australian Cheese Kransky, they're called Kranjska Klobasa, which Slovenians bought to Australia and then Aussies modified over time, mainly to include cheese. I would say that Ljubljana actually gets a lot more busy than this video shows, it seems you came at a a time where tourist season was coming to an end and the weather didn't help either. At some parts of the year (especially during festivals) it's so busy it can be difficult to walk around the river side. Two small things: Trg means "square" or "market" not street and France Prešeren is famous all across Slovenia, not just in Ljubljana. Later in life he actually lived and eventually died in Kranj, we have a large statue and a small museum in Kranj which is made from his final home. Next time you visit Ljubljana, you should definitely eat at Slovenka Hiša too, it's one of the most popular for traditional Slovenian food and beyond. Also try Laško, it's the superior Slovenian beer!
@TheLensCapChronicles7 күн бұрын
Hi! Thanks so much for your comment and taking the time to explain! I read the whole comment with such a big smile! I absolutely love Ljubljana. I love the culture, history and how it's so compact and explorable by foot. There is so much to learn! This time, I was visiting in September on the shoulder season after summer. They said it was a prime time to visit but had experienced rain when I was there. It was the time of the marathon so there was some vibrancy on that day. Thanks for explaining the meaning of trg. I did a bit of reading about France Prešeren so knew he was big throughout the country but was trying to focus on Ljubljana in this video. Sorry if that didn't come through. Thank you so much for the Slovenia Hiša recommendation! I had no idea about this but would love to go there next time. Thank you again for this insightful comment 🙏 p.s. I tried Laško at Predjama castle and possibly smuggled the incredible vintage bottle back to Australia 😉

@@TheLensCapChronicles Awesome! Really cool to get some more insight in to your adventure. Unfortunately the weather in 2024 hit the cold and rain stage really early and has been like that since. For me, the best time of year is either around Jun/Aug for summer & Ljubljana festival (which ends in September) or Christmas/New Year's which is absolutely magical across the country, uncountable events like Noč Parkeljnov, festival days for Miklavž, Božiček/Santa & Dedek Mraz (Slovenia has 3 Santas 😅) and Christmas lights are hung up all over the country. That Laško bootle will be a rare gem in Australia, it's basically impossible to get it in NZ & Aus, so it's a special momento for sure!
@TheLensCapChronicles6 күн бұрын
Yes I heard the weather was a bit uncharacteristically gnarly! I can't believe Slovenia has 3 Santa's! Now I know for sure it is truly the best country ever 😂🥰 I would love to see it in the proper winter. Yes I love that it has the old fashioned bottle top fastener. I used to have an elaborate way of taking off bottle labels in hot water and sticking them in my travel journals... but for Laško, I absolutely had to bring the bottle home! Thanks for the cool comment!

For supporting her beliefs, she started criticizing Indian scriptures like Bhagavad Gita, Vedas and some Ayurvedic texts.. Many months passed and now she is a Hindu. She always carry a small handbag with 108 tulsi bead mala inside. Always chanting🕉️🙏🏻
