Yes I have owned it before but in the losi 8ight truggy very good budget engine. I believe the carb is different on this to the hpi but other then that it's the same. Same as the Force 28 as well.

Yeah it is very fast for a small engine. I just have to work out why this one randomly cuts out 😭

@@RCWright is it on braking or letting of the throttle? Also how is it modded? Did you port it?

@@s.o.sSavage It's when it comes to an idle not on braking as such. It will sometimes idle for a bit and then cut off doesn't matter if the idle is high or not. Very strange. I just cut a few more grooves in the sleeve and the crank. It's an old engine hence why I didn't mind trying the mods. It might be the clutch or it's just worn

@@RCWright maybe it’s a carb issue i actually had a few problems with the carb on mine (the original carb) only after I hadn’t run it for a wile?

One of the reasons I got mine apart from the fact it was like new and cost me less than £100 was it had an HPI T15 engine that had only just been broken in but not really run however the OG servos I think called (Grear vigor) or GV are rubbish and need replacing . I do quite like the little thing and I will get it all sorted eventually and run her. I really like your body shell mine is not original and it could definitely do with a different one! @@s.o.sSavage sounds like you got a good deal. I got this one with a Tamiya Escort with the TA01 chassis which I had when I was 12 so had to get it lol. The engine has a broken head but hopefully won't effect it too much. Will get the gasket sorted and give it a run on the road, thanks for the comments:-)
