My accord leaks from the vtec solenoid but it hasnt thrown any check engine light. Is it ok to just replace the gasket? Or the whole unit?

You should change the piston rings and the valve stem seals to stop the engine burning oil.

Running 10w30 Mobil one extended performance in my Syclone. Running 25 lbs of boost on stock motor with 110000 miles on it. Hasn't blowed up yet.

@@Rosaa007 WHAT, are you serious? Ive been struggling with it for the past 2 days!! Everything has gone so smooth but doesn't the starter have to crank against the flywheel teeth to crank? Or do you mean i just have to remove the bolts and move it to the side? Please LMK its been delaying me hard and its getting real cold right about now up in Canada LOL

My car ( 2004 Honda Accord 2.4l ) doesn’t pass 3k rpm and I already replaced the VTEC Solenoid and cleared the code and code hasn’t came up but my car won’t pass 3k rpms any clue !???

Do you have a check engine light. Also what kind of oil are you running. I've noticed that if you run too thin of oil in these, they can go into kind of a limp mode because vtec won't work properly.

I’m 4 years late lmao, but if anyone’s active on this video still, instead of disconnecting from where the ball joints meet the lower control arm, could I just take the bolts out that connect the strut to the brake hub and drop the subframe with the hubs still on? Is there any reason I shouldn’t do this that way? It just sounds a bit easier to me..

Bro you could have gone on rock auto and got a Raybestos or a Centric brake master cylinder for 30-65 bucks . And yes they fit the type s and yes they are quality brands
