Amazing Work! Thank you! A couple of questions: (1). At time mark 2:27 you say that we can find the assemble manual in the description, but I cannot find it. Can you please share it (2). Can you share the link to the plates that you use to mount the motors. The link in the description is for some other plate, that does not fit here. (3). Starting from 1:51 time mark, you show how to attach L-plates to the motor, but your tilt and pan assembly does not show them. Why do we need them? Thank you
@DSLRDIYCNC9 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! 1) the assemble manual is inside the files in my buymeacoffee page. 2) The plates I am using are custom made, but are the same size as the ones in the links, but you need 2 to make 1 of my custom plates. 3) The L plates was used only to demonstrate how to mount the 2 flat plates in the motor and how to avoid the error of misalignment when you assemble all the pieces together.

Sure it works you just need to select the "esp32s3 dev module" in the arduino menu. The link for the esp32s3 board is in the description of the video tutorial

A very great project. I bought the hardware and have already made the first adjustments. Icons 80x80 So I have 24 icons. Now my two questions. 1. How can I change the background color from black to another? 2. Can I also simulate the long press of a key (e.g. press the V key for 3 seconds) Oh yes, other image templates would also be available, e.g. png work?

Thanks for your comment, sure the background color change and delay function will be added in the new version, the video will be released this week. 😀

Can you demonstrate how you built the firmware to control the system. I am not a programmer but i have a bit of knowledge on how to modify firmware for 3d printers. But i do not know how to set up repeatable moves with the motors.

The ESP32-S2 board is sold out. Is this the only ESP board that will work or are their others that are equally capable and compatible with the code?

this is still a lot of work. i wish you had shared the BIN file for us to flash. so we dont even need the Arduino IDE. anyway, can we do this with an old phone or tablet?
@DSLRDIYCNC2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the bin file, but it is more intimidating to program using command lines for people not used to programming. You can do the same looking for tutorials of "Touch portal", but it has its limitations.

Seems pretty handy, but if the bitmaps are 24 bits in depth, why are they 2 bits in color when used?
@DSLRDIYCNC2 жыл бұрын
the 24bits is more a limitation of the code I used that only read 24bits, I will try to add support for other bits bmp files and also a web interface to modify the files and icons easier.
@nigaman62772 жыл бұрын
a great project, I've been looking for something like this for a long time, don't you think to make PC software so that you don't have to register txt files yourself, assign bmp and not upload files to sd?
@DSLRDIYCNC2 жыл бұрын
that's a great idea. I was thinking about it for a second version of the InfiniteDeck, but over a web interface if it is possible. Going to an IP address and change the txt and icons.

very nice trick with the paper clip :) Love it.
@edneddy23 жыл бұрын
So I tested out the 58mm cap print first. was unable to fit the whole clip into the back.
@edneddy23 жыл бұрын
I also want to say that the grip part of the lens cap being sloped makes it a bit tricky to grip. I'd suggest making it flat.
@edwardzieba78873 жыл бұрын
The single layer gap between the sliders and cap body would probably be better off as a two layer gap at least, or printing the sliders as entirely separate pieces to be installed atferwards. With the single layer gap, the sliders bond to the cap body so strongly that flexing the cap to release them as shown in the video results in the cap body snapping before the sliders separate from the cap body. Dropping from 0.2mm layers to a 0.1mm layer height and cutting print speed in half (to allow greater layer cooling time) did not help in preventing the layers bonding.
@DSLRDIYCNC3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to update an alternative models with 0.4 gap
